It's been some years since I went to Ladakh, and that place is now etched in my memory. I did want to visit again, explore more, but somehow that never worked out. It's become more like a classic case of love at first sight, the classic school time crush but which then remained unrequited as no attempts were made for the love to blossom, and yet a fond memory lingers on. I really need to rekindle my love with Ladakh for otherwise that memory inside my head will keep gnawing me and I'll be left to wonder about the possibilities that could have been there. Till such time I delve deep in my Ladakh folders to see why I had fallen in love with that place, with its enticing landscape and each time I find a frame which shows me why.
Claire and I were hunting for a couple of doors for the house, and found one that had a fabulous etched glass panel.
I flameworked these glass beads individually. It took a long time to mix some of the colors by hand to create the gradient.
I made Etch and all members of the Shadow Squad onto my commando template. When I finish all of them, I'll make a comparison video of the ones I made and the ones CAC made. Decals are made by me, but helmet was designed by Tyler, I just recreated it from scratch. And sorry for the repost, The other pic was crappy :p
