They say that dizzying bokeh is an old lens manufacturing error. I don't know if it's true or not. But I like this mistake. (Kuribayashi cc Petri 55mm f2)
I'm so sick & tired of being used by other people. The mental strength of a person has certain limits. There are times when you have to ask yourself....will I let myself be treated like garbage and dirt for even longer? I treat myself bad enough there is no room for people who only perceive me if their desire is not tangible. I'd rather stay alone than continue to swallow this garbage. But I am grateful to the few people in whose centers I stand

L’intelligenza artificiale del programma di foto ritocco mi ha subito segnalato l’errore, proponendomi un ritaglio che da prima non ho accettato, ma poi mi sono convinto, un taglio netto al guscio per esaltare maggiormente le appendici retrattili e dare l’impressione che era quello che volevo…però peccato per il guscio.

The Inithium Event (September 18 -October 8, 2021)

90019 & 90020 crossing Docker Viaduct with 4M25, the 07.09 Mossend - Daventry 'liner on Wed 5th January 2022.
I attempted this composition on my visit the previous day, with the Class 70, although self inflicted user error got in the way and I messed it up. So, with the prospect of similar weather conditions, it was back for another go, this time with 4M25.
Note: Access to this viewpoint is via a public footpath off Docker Lane that goes (at first) through Packham's farm, then directly up the farm track towards the woods at the top of the horizon. Later on, I was challenged by the farmer who pointed out I had strayed off the footpath and he was non too pleased. However, he did indicate that permission would be granted if sought before going up the hill.

Para mi querida amiga Gloria Castro. Espero enmendar el error de no haberlo hecho en mi anterior fotografía. Lo siento Gloria, espero te guste.
El Monumento al Minero de Puertollano acaba de cumplir 38 años en el Cerro de Santa Ana, 38 años vigilando desde las alturas la ciudad de Puertollano y viendo pasar la vida año tras año, década tras década.
Este icono de Puertollano, una escultura creada por José Noja en el año 1983, ha conseguido recordar de manera perpetua a los mineros de la ciudad puertollanense y su pasado bajo las entrañas, si bien en todos estos años es el símbolo de la celebración del Día del Minero y de la ofrenda de flores que se institucionalizó para rendir homenaje cada cuatro de diciembre a Santa Bárbara y a los mineros.
