This is a great and funny book, but it seems strange that there are so many odd errors on this 1 page.
Ray Chapman, the Cleveland Shortstop was killed by a pitch thrown by Yankees pitcher Carl Mays, not Ray Mays. Maybe the author was mixed up with Ray Chapman’s name and wrote Ray instead of Carl?
Then in the Willard Hershberger story, he says that Hershberger hanged himself in the Miles Standish Hotel, when he actually committed suicide by cutting his throat, not by hanging, and it was at the Copley Plaza Hotel, not the Miles Standish Hotel, and that hotel was spelled Myles, not Miles, and was located in Duxbury, Mass, not Downtown Boston. I don’t understand how those errors can be made.

This is what needs to be done when one screws up.
The Spindles have two different threaded ends = the left one has a right-hand thread and the left has a left-hand thread. Well, you guessed it = I had them switched. No big deal if the nuts are held in place properly and they where. I discovered it when I went to check & adjust the wheel bearings. This could have been lived with = BUT, being annal, I had to correct it.
