4th of 5 experiments using Photoshop filters to work with an image of prickly pear cactus, taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens last weekend. This one is inversted from the original, then added the neon glow filter and finally the "equalize" adjustment. Best view is large or better yet, the original size view which is 1800 pixels wide. Well... maybe it looks best large to those who appreciate psychodelia, ha ha!

When filled with 8 feet of water, the volume of this 160 x 75 foot basin is 900,000 gallons, At the current flow rate, this pond can store up to 9 days of unprocessed wastewater during high flow events.

This dust-coated Technics equalizer was part of a beautiful five-piece stereo set bought in 1992 and installed in a stereo cabinet in the living room. (The other components of the set were an amplifier, AM-FM tuner, CD player, and a cassette deck.) We used the equalizer once or twice.
In 2004 we needed room in the cabinet for a newly-purchased DVD player, so the equalizer was removed, photographed, cleaned, and stored in another room. Two years later I dusted it off again and gave it away during a garage sale.

We have these wire sliding drawers because of this: I AM SHORT. Stuart can reach back into those uselessly deep cabinets just fine, with all that HEIGHT of his, and he was reluctant to lose the square inchage required to install these but people, seriously? Five foot one? I need those wire bins.

Its good for if your image is too dark too light has extreme contrast has too dark area or too light an area etc
Ideally youd need a combination of both of these or maybe tweak the 2nd image

This was a macro attempt with a canon powershot G5, the focal length is only 35mm in film camera terms.
If its sharp you can at least do something with it.

Pushing to create an equalizer, a MN United player collided with the Carolina keeper who stayed down for a couple minutes. It also furthered the building tension between the sides.

Medveščak had a lead 3:1 after the first period, with goals from Morley (11', 13') and Netik (19'), while Brod (16') scored for guests. Linz equalized through Lebler (25') and Locke (28'). Zagreb players scored for the lead again through Olden (38'), but only a minute before the end of the second period Lukas equalized again. The third period and overtime went with no goals, and in shootout the Linz goalkeeper Ouzas excelled and defended all three shots from Medveščak players, and Leber was the only one to score for the win.
»It's a shame, I am sorry that we missed the win. Everything was on our side, but we obviously still have a problem with powerplay.
