I was sitting in my house thinking of what could show balance when I looked up and saw these items sitting on my counter. I cleared away some newspapers that were on the ledge. Then I took this shot at a level point of view while using a tripod.

August 17, 2009: After Mayor Dan Sullivan vetoed the Anchorage equal rights ordinance, a protest was spontaneously organized across the street from City Hall.
We took a moment to look at the cliff face adjacent to us. It was much to dangerous to attempt to climb. But, in that moment, we were on equal footing with it.
