January 5, 2020 - Epic Sunset Twilight at Shoreline Village. Today after returning home from my Joshua Tree National Park photo shoot, I decided to chase the epic sunset at Shoreline Village. The clouds really added lots of colors to the sky at sunset time tonight!
Upon arriving to my location, I had little hope of seeing any light. There was a Tropical Storm making it’s way into the Gulf of Mexico. Clouds had made their way farther north than I had hoped. If anywhere was going to get light, it would be to the north. After messing around with a few long exposures of passing clouds, I set up my composition with the northern sky in the background. Just a few minutes after sunset, light actually broke through and set the sky on fire. The light lasted about 5 minutes and faded off.

December 29, 2019 - Here is tonight's Epic Sunset from Signal Hill-Hilltop Park! Tonight after Church while I was shopping with my Parents at Trader Joe's, I noticed the patchy clouds in the sky, and knew that these would potentially create an epic sunset. Since Signal Hill-Hilltop Park is one of the best sunset viewing spots and closest to home for me, I decided to visit here for a last minute photo shoot of the epic sunset. Thank God I was correct about tonight's sunset, because it looked so colorful, epic, and breathtaking!

My friends invited me for a sunset sail. I wasn’t sure if we would get any good sunset, considering how hazy and overcast the west sky had been all day. But I certainly welcomed the opportunity. We met at the MDR marina where his boat was parked, and we were ready to go in less than 20 minutes. As leaving the marina and sailing out into the open ocean, we noticed that the thick layer of clouds that covered the sky was clearing up above the Santa Monica Mountains. As the sun appeared in the opening, everything turned gold. When the sun dropped behind the mountains, the sky that had been smeared in gold started glowing orange and then red. As if somebody set it on fire, the flames started spreading across the sky like crazy.
June 15, 2020 - Epic Cloudy Sunset at Yoshinoya in Long Beach, CA. I saw and photographed this sunset while ordering Dinner at Yoshinoya. I love the amazing views at this restaurant!
January 1, 2020 - On New Year's Day, I had to catch up on sleep after a back to back photo shoot of the New Year's Eve Fireworks at the Lion's Lighthouse at Shoreline Village, followed by a photo shoot of the Rose Parade with my friends Terri, Peggy, and the Creative Photo Academy! When I woke up, I saw these colorful clouds and had to photograph them from home. What a glorious ending to the first day of 2020, and the first day of the new decade. Happy New Year 2020 to all and to all a Good Night!

I truned around and saw and photographed how colorful the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Hotel appeared. The clouds really added lots of colors to the sky at sunset time tonight!

January 18, 2020 - Cabazon Dinosaur at Twilight Blue Hour, with glowing eyes and colorful, cloudy skies! I visited the two Cabazon Dinosaurs on my way home from visiting The Living Desert with the Tuttle Cameras Group. I was about to leave after taking some pictures, but when I saw the sunset color the clouds in the skies, I knew I had to stay for more photo ops!
