What we did: replaced light fixtures and windows. This room is also going to get a complete overhaul in the next 2 or 3 months, will have more photos when it's done.
Entry for Decor8's Fabulous Stationery contest (matching favorite rooms to a certain design of notecard - in my case, chic, sleek, and almost monochromatic).
Main entry; family room directly to the left and opens with french doors to large south-facing deck.

Ketan is an artist who set up his home here about 5 years ago. He creates wonderful building structures and art here, and he likes to have good people visiting and fellow artists making this place even better.

Some aggressive metal work on these entryway doors turns the sidewalk in front of an Upper East Side townhouse into a light projection field. Matching windows on both sides of the doors means I will be revisiting with my wide angle lens.
Arnold (left) consents a mother for a survey exploring the burden of sickle cell disease in the Homa Bay community. They laugh and smile as they recount funny experiences of being a parent. These surveys are critical to understand caregiver needs and then use that information to develop contextually-relevant interventions.

I made an entry to the annual Getty Images Video Remix competition called Mishmash.
The idea of the contest was to get footage from Getty Images and make something out of it. And well.. I made something out of it. The music and the footage is from Getty Images.
