Assertion: The IKEA in-store experience is a mixed example of a well-managed entry point.
Evidence: IKEA stores have high barriers to entry. They manage points of prospect moderately well, with signage and clear directions. IKEA stores provide a great example of progressive lures. More options unfurl themselves as the visitor progresses through the store/showroom.
Commentary: I generally think of IKEA as an onerous experience made better by design. It's Entry Point is not the high-point of its use of design.
