Remember the SED building in Diablo? Jaye brought back some memories for me there. I snuck up on top of that building once, in the middle of the night, and stared at the stars. Never got caught. BTY, S.E.D. stands for "Special Engineering Division". My Dad was hired by them in 1940 to study the feasability of a third locks. Dad worked in the lab down at Miraflores Locks and the SED headquarters was here, in Diablo, in this building. Later, when the third locks project was abandoned, Dad was transferred to the Admin building.
