Jackson wasn't thrilled to be called to dinner since he was quite busy driving Daddy around town on his train whilst wearing his engineer cap and his "train driver clothes" (apparently fashioned out of a large sheet by Daddy). However, he humored my request and sat down long enough to inhale some "train driver beans" and "train driver mac & cheese".
Then he announced he was on his way to where else but...Cookietown.
September 20, 2024 - The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is a National Historic Landmark. We will be riding it from Silverton to Durango, Colorado.
Since I was a teenager it has been on my bucket list to ride this train. I was disappointed however that we were booked on the excursion being pulled by a diesel locomotive and not a steam engine.

We went to the railroad museum at Laws, just outside Bishop today. Collin really loved it. We pretty much had to pry his fingers off the train to leave.
