Yeah, no surprises here in terms of our costumes this year.
He's so into trains now!
Originally I was going to be a train conductor, but he wasn't too thrilled about wearing his engineer cap, so I decided to wear the same outfit to try to coax him to wear the cap as well. It worked! =P
We went to the Boo at the Zoo day at the San Francisco Zoo....
Although it was a rather overcast day (which accounts for the fact that the photos seem so gray), the zoo was pretty crowded! Lots of cute costumed kids there.

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to Bravo Company, 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct a route clearance lane with the Panther Mine-Resistant Vehicle and Buffalo Mine Protected Route Clearance Vehicle June 11, 2025, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The Soldiers employed the Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II to train on explosive interrogation and disruption of suspected improved explosive devices and mines on the roadway. The 116th is the first Army National Guard brigade to test a prototype task organization for a mobile brigade combat team, and it will be evaluated during a 21-day eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation. The MBCT concept is part of the U.S. Army’s transformation initiative with the goal of making units more agile and lethal. Read more at vngpao.info/4a5nr2vp. Georgia National Guard Soldiers with the Augusta-based 878th Engineer Battalion, 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, conduct route clearance during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Augusta, Georgia, Sept. 28, 2024. The Georgia National Guard is providing response and recovery support to areas impacted by Hurricane Helene. Engineers from University of Toronto remember the 628 University of
Toronto students, staff and alumni who gave their life fighting in
WWI. A memorial field with 628 crosses, each bearing a name of one
of the fallen, has been set up on King's College Circle to honour their sacrifice.
