Fossil Rock Desert, 75 kms from Dubai. Went there today for a picnic (near the rocks) with some friends. Absolutely perfect weather and temperature! The winter in Dubai is truly enjoyable.

Fountains Abbey (NT), Ripon, North Yorkshire, England.
Fountains Abbey is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. It is run by the National Trust and has been used as a location in the Witcher.

Last summer's nest and now sitting empty in the middle of January. I'm glad the wild winterberries were still on the vine and uneaten, giving a nice balance to the image.

Llyn Padarn
Llyn Padarn is a glacially formed lake in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north Wales, and is an example of a moraine dammed lake. The lake is approximately 2 miles long and at its deepest point is 94 feet deep, and is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales. At its south-eastern end it is linked to the neighbouring Llyn Peris.
Dificil ver esto en estas fechas veraniegas en cualquier playa de la costa peninsular, incluida la de Portugal, donde se tomó la foto....Pero personalmente, asà me gusta ver las playas...VacÃas!!

It is difficult to see this during these summer dates on any beach on the peninsular coast, including the one in Portugal, where the photo was taken... But personally, this is how I like to see the beaches... Empty!!
