Pattern: Embossed Leaves Socks from Favorite Socks
Yarn: 2 skeins of Dale of Norway Baby Ull, color 9436
Needles: US 2 (2.75 mm)
Image started out as an embossed photo paper colored with alcohol inks. Hue edited. Curves feature used to deepen the Midtones. Repeating pattern created from edited image. Hue/Saturation used to change the image color. Paint.net used for all image edits.

For this one, I used one of my favourite butterfly stamps, embossing powder and some Perfect Pearls powders to finish off the topper.
Meanwhile the background was just VersaMark ink with the Perfect Pearls rubbed in.

I love this design, and I was pleased with how quickly the pattern knits. I wasn't sure about the toe until I'd worn the socks for a whole day and realized how well it fit the shape of my foot. But I do wish I'd had enough of this yarn to make these longer.

Milestone Birthday – 11 years old – B11a
For my 11 year olds, I thought I would make pretty flower cards for the girls and something farm related for the boys. Here is the first girl card – I found the idea on Dawn’s Blog.
Stamps: Build-a-Blossom, Watercolor Joy.
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Green Galore.
Ink: Regal Rose, Old Olive.
Accessories: rhinestones, pink ribbon, Crystal Effects, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Sponges, Dimensionals.
Punches: Blossom Petals Builder, 1/2" Circle, Large Oval, Scallop Oval,

I used Memento ink markers to color in the flowers and letters directly on the stamp.
I used a cuttlebug embossing folder to do the mat. I used a spellbinders fancy tag die to put behind the back of my matted saying.(it was cut and attached at the sides) Yellow Kaiser pearls on the corners I had pnuched out with a Tonic ticket punch.
