I finished these before leaving for Maryland Sheep & Wool but forgot to post them. I really love the Embossed Leaves pattern--it's so easy and works up really quickly, but the result is so pretty. These are socks I'll be making again in the future.
The Madelinetosh Tosh Sock is wonderful--excellent stitch definition and yardage. I had a lot of yarn left over after finishing these. I would work with it again in the future.

This is the Neat Nique for Sat Sept 25 at Cherish The Thought. We used a tree embossing folder on Core Color cardstock and sanded the high spots. There is glitter added to the light areas of the tree, but of course not very easy to see on screen. The core color is added to a light green card base and a Merry Christmas Peeloffs sticker is added as well as a lovely ribbon.
This is an ATC I did using a technique I came up with while embossing with glue. Check out the technique at: paperbouquet.wordpress.com/2007/08/06/reverse-embossing/

For this one, I used one of my favourite butterfly stamps, embossing powder and some Perfect Pearls powders to finish off the topper.
Meanwhile the background was just VersaMark ink with the Perfect Pearls rubbed in.
by Mona Schmidt from Interweave Knits Winter 2005 and Interweave's Favourite Socks book, using Koigu KPM and 3mm and 2.75mm Knitpicks harmony dpns. My favourite sock pattern ever!
I love this design, and I was pleased with how quickly the pattern knits. I wasn't sure about the toe until I'd worn the socks for a whole day and realized how well it fit the shape of my foot. But I do wish I'd had enough of this yarn to make these longer.
