Embossing folders - do you have any? Do you love to use them? I am really enjoying the new, highly detailed, super deep etched designs of embossing folders that joined the market not too long ago. They are the perfect quick, easy and inexpensive way to take a background up a notch or two.

For Jo's Christmas Kickstart challenge. This fortnight the theme is a Twofer - Christmas Tree. two cards, different designs, one stamp or die. This one used the Hero Arts Merry Merry tree with an embossing folder
I used the Hero Arts BasicGrey Two Way Arrows stencil and embossed it (video in the link below) on Kraft Cardstock. I used StazOn Spiced Chai Ink direct to paper over the textured embossing (which seemed perfect, since Spiced Chai is my go-to choice of hot drink).
I used three different images from the Hero Arts Caffeine Fix Digital Stamp set to create my image. I combined the coffee cup (or tea cup in my case) with the steam and the sentiment using my word processing software, which allows me to re-size, flip (I wanted my mug handle on the right) and position the images, so they are perfect for my card design, and then printed it on Natural White Cardstock.
The layout is this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch (flipped on its side to work with my vertical image).

Tibetan art, early 18th century
This work, hollow and made by an assembly of multiple embossed copper plates, constitutes a remarkable testimony to the great Tibetan statue. The character once lying under the left foot of the goddess, and which symbolized the obstacles overcome by her, has disappeared, as have the diadem and the attributes, brought back, which would have made it possible to identify more precisely this dakini, "messenger from space".
