My second encounter with this Japan Airlines Boeing 777-300ER, having first captured her from a gate at Chicago O'Hare. At that time she was in the dreadful rising sun livery, although I will never pass up the opportunity to comment on how boring this livery is, no matter how glad I am to see the Tsurumaru back again.

2000-2002 Corbin Motors Sparrow Hatchback EV: The Sparrow Personal Transit Module (PTM) from Corbin Motors of Hollister, California was a single passenger vehicle designed specifically for commuters and intercity driving.

Powered by thirteen 12 volt batteries, the Sparrow provided an effective range of 30 to 60 miles and a top speed of 70 mph. A total of only 285 Corbin Sparrows were manufactured and put on the road with this hatchback model originally priced at $16,995. Corbin Motor Company filed for bankruptcy proceedings on March 31, 2003. The assets of Corbin Motors were bought by Phoenix Environmental Motors which tried to revive the Sparrow. The plan of reviving production through SLP Canada never came to fruition and, on August 5, 2004, Ohio businessman Dana Myers bought the Sparrow interests from Phoenix Environmental Motors and formed Myers Motors, LLC in Talmadge, Ohio. The new Sparrow, renamed NmG ("No more Gas"), now had AGM batteries instead of flooded cell and a redesigned body. In 2009, Myers switched to lithium ion batteries and a new price of $29,995. Production of the NmG ended in about 2015.
