"Dress up, " he said when I asked where we were going. That usually means a ballroom! It's not often that I get a chance to go ballroom dancing... and to share that with my angel is special.

Ballroom in the Clouds is a special, romantic place for couples. A large dance floor offers many couples romantic dances, but there are several platforms and areas where you can share a quiet dance together.

Up high above the dance floor, you can dance on clouds or sit sweetly on pose balls just holding each other. A dinner setting for two also offers a complete package for a romantic date.

And the music here is a tad more modern than some other ballrooms. We knew most of the music and sang along. Take a loved one... they will love it!

Elemental is a spiral embossed, smooth, etched handmade lampwork glass focal bead with lots of reactions happening between the colours. Ivory and black have been super-heated to create a "bleeding" effect - add the stripes of fine silver-coated ivory glass to the mix and you get a gorgeous organic effect.

On top of all that, this bead was embossed on both sides with an indent spiral and finally etched to give it a beautiful finish, with a surface that feels a little like a Mint Imperial sweet!

There's a lot of handmade going on in this bead as the tool I used to emboss the spiral was made by my own fair hands. Sometimes I like the precision of a machined bead press but this time I wanted something a little less even - and it worked perfectly!
