Entire schematics of my experimental GPS receiver kit, described in previous picture description (except the antenna, but it looks quite simple). See notes for the description.
There are some non-connected wires from the engine board: for own USB interface, for LED status indicator, for small lithium battery to keep the settings in memory after the disconnection of main interface. Maybe, I'll add the LED and battery later. I'm also going to connect both boards with a piece of sticky two-sided foam to keep it together.
Running the scope with a 5V USB/TTL adapter (e.g. BUB or an FTDI cable) gives pretty bad contrast. The whole device pulls about 200-250mA. Stabilized external power (real 9V DC) works just fine.
Please note that a new hardware version of this device has been released, therefore these images will most likely not apply to it.
This is the human interface for the contraption. The backbone is an Arduino Mini Pro. It's connected to the camera unit via a 315mhz RF link and takes input from the user via five potentiometers and three pushbuttons
I needed a connector for a solenoid that goes onto my Graflex camera. I made the pins out of brass tubing. You probabaly don't need a Graflex solenoid connector, but the same principle can be used to make many weird and unobtainable connectors and sockets.
The two avionics designs for Martlet 2. The final rocket will have two of the flight computer (one in the body and one in the nosecone) and one radio.
The radio board features a uBlox MAX-M8Q GPS with an LNA+SAW on the input, a Radiometrix MTX2 which can either connect directly to the output or go via a 500mW RF power amplifier, and an isolated connection to a RockBLOCK Iridium satellite modem. It's all powered by an STM32F303CBT7 microcontroller.
The flight computer features three K-type thermocouple inputs, three strain gauge half-bridge inputs, three 1A pyrotechnic outputs, a full IMU (±20g and ±200g 3axis accelerometers, 3axis gyro and magno, barometric pressure), a micro SD card for datalogging and a serial interface to the radio and other peripherals. It's powered by an STM32F405VGT7 32-bit ARM microcontroller.

Originally, I wanted to do a macro series of every Intel Pentium Processor chip that has been created, or perhaps more of a chronology of computer processing chips, but I was unable to obtain them in time for a class project I was doing this for. So, these are various parts to electronic devices such as remote controls, alarm clocks, computer keyboards, etc. I used a 60mm macro w/ an extension tube and primarily lit them from behind with a flash gun and filled in the front with on-cam flash.
My 1957 vintage Dynakit (Dynaco) Stereo 70 tube amp is back on the work bench after developing a problem with a red plate (anode) on one of the EL34 output tubes in the right channel. I rebuilt the amp in 2003 and it has worked for 11 years without a problem.
