This photo shows how I hard wired Arduino and included a button to control the LED. In order for the LED to light, I also had to write/code a program for it using the Adruino Sketch pad. I love this stuff. Smiles.

Oct 27, 2013: spent most of the afternoon bending up an enclosure for the squooshed electronics. It's 8 in wide, 4 in tall and 12 in long. I couldn't make it any larger because of the material size limits imposed by my sheetmetal equipment. It's not quite long enough to enclose everything so I'll attach a small box to the bottom to protect the rest.

Jas and Chuck did a bang-up job putting together all the electronics. All of the electronics powered up and worked perfectly the first time -- the only headache we had was getting adafruit's programmer to work.

por mais que o fotógrafo tenha tentado, a peça não ganha valor porque é transparente e o hardware interno não é muito bonito. Nesse caso um acrílico fosco gravado valorizaria muito mais a peça.

A first take on the electronics: This is a Wave Shield on top of an Arduino Uno. It fitted quite nicely into a cheap plastic case which also happened to have the right size to serve as a gun box for the turret. A lucky find.
