Huppin's teamed up with Sony and Waste Management to offer a free drop off location to recycle old electronics. The event was a great success. Over 2000 people contributed to recycling 175,000 lbs of electronics.

I was telling my good friend Ryan that I like the FTDI VC TTY adapter I got. But I was complaining that I felt like I was going to break it or whatever I had it connected to. So I made some of these 6 pin wires with headers a couple of semesters of go for school. There is a female header connecter on the wires and a male on the FTDI BuB Board so it's easily removed.
Fry's, a nationwide chain, has the largest selection of all things electronics-related. There's even a nice cafe in the middle of the store. I recommend the Grapeful Dead smoothie! When we lived in Wilsonville, OR, a trip to Fry's was a great low-budget way to spend an evening.
