if I remember rightly, this was shot from the top of the Pompidou Centre. I might be completely wrong, if anyone who knows Paris better can tell me I'd be grateful.
[6/52].
This was taken in Paris (duh) something like a month ago and even though it isn't precisely from February's second week, well, i wanted to upload something from Europe that isn't my face or snow so here you are.
I knew you were trouble when you walked in...
Got this song stuck to my head. Ggggg.
I can't believe holidays have already gone by. I mean, a minute ago i was in the pool enjoying december with my friends, celebrating the end of the school year and BOOM: it's almost MARCH!
It isn't fair :(
I guess all that's left is to enjoy the last days of summer.
It's getting cold again.
Good night guys!

A view from Montparnasse Tower - Paris, France
I just learned that the Eiffel Tower is blue this month because it is France's turn to preside over the Council of the European Union.
An Eiffel Tower pendant set on a clear acrylic surface with a textured background, taken for the Flickr Friday theme, "Arches." The pendant is 1.75-inches tall.
Strobist/technical info:
The pendant was placed on a clear sheet of acrylic with an aluminum foil background light painted blue as a backdrop. The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights placed 90° CL/CR two-feet away and 16-inches above the subject. The speedlights were fired in Manual mode @ ¼ power through two Neewer 24" x 24" soft boxes. The Blue LED of a Coast TX10 Quad Color flashlight was used to light paint the background over a 1 s exposure.
The SB900's were triggered by three PockerWizard Plus X's.
Lens: Tokina AT - X M100 AF PRO D (AF 100mm f / 2.8 Macro).

The Eiffel Tower (French: La Tour Eiffel, [tuʁ ɛfɛl], nickname La dame de fer, the iron lady) is a puddle iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Built in 1889, it has become both a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris[10] and the most-visited paid monument in the world; millions of people ascend it every year. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair.
The tower stands 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to assume the title of the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years, until the Chrysler Building in New York City was built in 1930. However, due to the addition, in 1957, of the antenna atop the Eiffel Tower, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building. Not including broadcast antennas, it is the second-tallest structure in France, after the Millau Viaduct.
The tower has three levels for visitors. Tickets can be purchased to ascend, by stairs or lift, to the first and second levels. The walk from ground level to the first level is over 300 steps, as is the walk from the first to the second level. The third and highest level is accessible only by elevator. Both the first and second levels feature restaurants.
The tower has become the most prominent symbol of both Paris and France, often in the establishing shot of films set in the city.
The Eiffel Tower under a cool stormy night... photographed from the gardens of Champ de Mars. Enjoy!
