Happy Easter!
Seems most appropriate for Smile on Saturday but a bit too similar to my Looking Close... on Friday entry so I did another.
An ordinary hen egg in the nest of a Grey Fantail ... it had 3 chicks so this egg is a bit big!!!
Walking up to Nell and Helen's for a cup of tea and a play with the pigs involved filling my camera bag with these for the walk back.
Next to quite an expensive lens.
Worth the risk though. Yum.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at looking Close on Friday is « eggs & reflections ». In my opinion it is a perfect theme. However, I must admit, I struggled a lot with my picture. First of all, I had so many concepts and so little time !!! My ideas were all over the place and the more I was thinking about the concept, the less time I had. Then, I couldn’t find my tiny round mirror I wanted to use for this picture … (which put me in an awful mood, since I’m losing lots of stuff lately…). So I had to think about another concept with the mirrors I had. And I took my picture super late so my lightning wasn’t optimal in my opinion. Maybe I put too much thinking in my creativity. Well, here is the picture I choose for this awesome theme. I hope you will like it.
FYI: due to my crazy schedule I might not be able to answer all your awesome comments !! Sorry for that and I will try to catch up as soon as possible…
Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
I’m not the best artist but thought I’d draw on these eggs, before they went in the cake mix I was making.
Happy Easter fellow Smile on Saturday Group friends 🐣
In France we say: "La fonction fait la forme". Here, one could say: "The form generates the function".
A young man waits for customers at his family egg business located in a wet market in Tagbilaran, Bicol, The Philippines.
she was everywhere, but when I started to look, only found 8 more... bring my egg count so far to 38...

Cropped my three-inch bird nest down to two inches and added three blue Cadbury mini eggs to give the appearance of a robin's nest.
HMM!
Happy eggs, smiling at me. A nice thing to see first thing in the morning when I reach for breakfast.
I hard boil a bunch of eggs and then return them to the carton and take one or two each day on the run. I made the mistake one day of bringing a raw, uncooked egg with me to work. That was unpleasant. :(
So now I draw little happy faces on all the ones that are hard boiled. :)
That way I don't make the same mistake again.
Sorry I've been scarcely here. Work all day, school all night, and broken home computer = very hard to get on Flickr very much. I will catch up with everyone when I can, I miss you all!
P.S. this was taken with my cameraphone, which explains the poor quality.
I was totally uninspired by this week's theme and wasn't going to participate. I had eggs, but no paints, but at the very last moment I decided to cheat and use marker pens. I then couldn't find any that worked apart from red and blue, so I made do - HSoS!
Shiny eggs? Maybe broken balls from a bagatelle or a pinball machine. Why there are so many is a good question. Perhaps it's where pachinco balls go to dei.
