Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at looking Close on Friday is « eggs & reflections ». In my opinion it is a perfect theme. However, I must admit, I struggled a lot with my picture. First of all, I had so many concepts and so little time !!! My ideas were all over the place and the more I was thinking about the concept, the less time I had. Then, I couldn’t find my tiny round mirror I wanted to use for this picture … (which put me in an awful mood, since I’m losing lots of stuff lately…). So I had to think about another concept with the mirrors I had. And I took my picture super late so my lightning wasn’t optimal in my opinion. Maybe I put too much thinking in my creativity. Well, here is the picture I choose for this awesome theme. I hope you will like it.

FYI: due to my crazy schedule I might not be able to answer all your awesome comments !! Sorry for that and I will try to catch up as soon as possible…

Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !

Super tiny Stink Bug Egg,s.

Still life (early attempt) at eggs in a bamboo bowl. Natural light through the window.

this image impressed me because light and contrast is good & clarity.

thanks for every one for views, faves, and comments.

Not so creative with the titles here. Last one from my "snow day" a few days ago.

Still busy with the egg theme…

Wishing you all a relaxing Sunday!

For Looking Close... on Friday

Here in Germany we can buy colored eggs at the supermarket all year round, not just at Easter time, signifying that they are hard boiled.

There is a little selfie in the teapot reflection, too.

Happy eggs, smiling at me. A nice thing to see first thing in the morning when I reach for breakfast.

I hard boil a bunch of eggs and then return them to the carton and take one or two each day on the run. I made the mistake one day of bringing a raw, uncooked egg with me to work. That was unpleasant. :(

So now I draw little happy faces on all the ones that are hard boiled. :)

That way I don't make the same mistake again.

Sorry I've been scarcely here. Work all day, school all night, and broken home computer = very hard to get on Flickr very much. I will catch up with everyone when I can, I miss you all!

P.S. this was taken with my cameraphone, which explains the poor quality.

Live size facehugger and egg.

The facehugger is inspired by the one of AL13N163NA (www.flickr.com/photos/64160018@N08/albums/72157632840630539).

The egg is 50 cm high and 35 cm wide. The Facehugger is 1 meter long.

Egg & nest image is 2 1/2 inch right to left.

Shiny eggs? Maybe broken balls from a bagatelle or a pinball machine. Why there are so many is a good question. Perhaps it's where pachinco balls go to dei.

This strange object, stranded on the rocks is one of the remaining sections of the Mulberry Harbour, an eerie remnant of World War Two. A floating pontoon which bore a roadway, secretly tested at Garlieston in 1943 and used during the D-Day landings in Normandy.

The two sections stranded here lend an air of weirdness to what is already a bleak place. Brutalist in shape and industrial in appearance, they lay like shipwrecks, buffeted by tide after tide, slowly eroding away.

This is my version, shot through on a glass dining table with a green head lamp under the table and a red head lamp shinning on top.

For "smile on saturday" and

"egg-ceptional"!!!

Be well, stay at home and thank you for visiting!

How adorable are these kombi egg cups given to me recently by a dear friend!

Thank you to all of my wonderful Flickr friends for all of your lovely comments . . . I'm a little behind on all of your streams but promise to catch up very soon :)

Heroes come and go, this week's hero is the Egg-Layers of America, working overtime to get these oval breakfast staples in the market. We salute you for the efforts on March 1st 2025.

Thank you for appreciating my photo.
