Flower Themes - "light on dark" is our theme for this week.
I made this photo merging forty-four 0.3'' exposures (one photo per second), with LR enfuse, to obtain a very long exposure of about 57.2 seconds, which created the "silk effect" of the sea :)
Taken on a cold and blustery day, amongst the ancient ramparts of 2000 year old fort on Eggardon Hill, in Dorset.
The yellow Ipê (scientific name: Handroanthus albus) is a tree that originates in tropical America, from Mexico to Argentina, but it is in Brazil that we find the largest amount of this tree, from north to south of the whole country.
Yellow flowering begins in late August, the species is hermaphrodite, fruiting occurs between September and February, depending on the region, cultivated trees begin to reproduce at age three.

Recently I have done my photographic work through the daily lives of people, capturing them and seeking to show lives in my photographs.
Urban life are part of my daily life, so I understand that photography for me is always a consequence of the moment and places in which we live.
I hope you enjoy my work!

One from a trip to Virginia Beach (Sandbridge actually) a few years ago. We usually go to the Outer Banks every year, but that year, we decided to check out Virginia Beach. Decided we liked the Outer Banks better and have returned there every year. Leaving this weekend for a week there. Can't wait to take a bunch of photos to share with all of you. Probably save a lot of them to post in the middle of Winter when we are all snowed in (those of my fans in the Northern areas that is).
