I have long wanted to photograph this species of hawk very found here in South America.

The Carcará, is very accustomed to urban life, and on a walk in a park I had the pleasure of photographing it.

I did not have a telephoto lens, but I prepared the machine settings and in manual focus...I captured it.

In the original image there is a building of funds and wires of electrical network, that in the processing of images, by the lightroom and photoshop, I made the desired adjustments.

Here in Brazil we are already counting down to the summer, me and family countdown to vacations. And in this vacation, in early December, we will cross the continent and land in Portugal to know the land of the discoverers. Enjoy the cold weather, and enjoy good Portuguese cuisine and beautiful cities.

It's autumn here in Brazil.

Time of the falling leaves, the people who fall in love, and the slight icy breeze that remains during the day.

This is the region called the birthplace of the city of São Paulo. The Pátio do Colégio is an archaeological site (1554), where the first construction of the current city of São Paulo was erected, when Priest Manuel da Nóbrega and the then novice José de Anchieta, as well as other Jesuit priests at the request of Portugal and the Company of Jesus, established a nucleus for the purpose of catechizing indigenous people in the Plateau.

*Composition of the main buildings in the photo: the Anchieta Museum (left), the Memorial of the Founders of the City of São Paulo (right) and, in the background, the buildings of the Secretariat of Justice and Defense of Citizenship of the State of São Paulo.

St Huberts 11th century chapel at Idsworth, Hampshire. Earl Godwin, father of King Harold is believed to have had the chapel built around 1030AD.

The site was first settled by the Romans before becoming a village that survived through to the 14th century until the great plague wiped it out. St Huberts now stands alone on a small hill overlooking the valley.

This is the view from inside the hotel. It maintains some of its characteristics of the American colonial architecture of the 1940s (year of its construction). Image quality is not the best due to certain noise (ISO-400) and 1/30" speed without using the tripod.

Whilst in a lockdown... and bored... thought I would have a go at a bit of macro / abstract photography with only my canon, some silver reflective plastic, a torch, a candle and some sprinkles of water.

A corner to stretch your legs at the end of the week and renew your energy for the start of a long week.

Good to see your works here again, Flickr friends.

Paulista Avenue is one of the most important streets in the city of São Paulo, the capital of the homonymous state. It is located on the border between the Center-South, Central and West (2.7 km); and in one of the highest regions of the city, called Espigão da Paulista. Considered one of the main financial centers of the city, as well as one of its most characteristic tourist spots, the avenue reveals its importance not only as an economic hub, but also as a cultural and entertainment center.

The avenue was created in the late nineteenth century, from the desire of São Paulo to expand new residential areas in the city that were not located immediately near the busiest centralities of the period. Paulista Avenue was inaugurated on December 8, 1891.
