Side effects include ditching the comedy pseudonym I've been using for the last two years. Not sure everyone really got it anyway. It's a bit scary being yourself on the World Wide Internet. But here goes...
Drug Side Effects:
A side effect is usually regarded as an undesirable secondary effect which occurs in addition to the desired therapeutic effect of a drug or medication. Side effects may vary for each individual depending on the person's disease state, age, weight, gender, ethnicity and general health.
Side effects can occur when commencing, decreasing/increasing dosages, or ending a drug or medication regimen. Side effects may also lead to non-compliance with prescribed treatment. When side effects of a drug or medication are severe, the dosage may be adjusted or a second medication may be prescribed. Lifestyle or dietary changes may also help to minimize side effects.
I added the Studio Pallette Oil effect in Topaz Studio II to this photo I took of a crepe myrtle and weeping willow tree above our driveway in Madison, Alabama.
I love trying out the effects in Picnik, always funny to see how it changes the tones and colours of a picture and often I can't really decided which one I like best. And often, I prefer the added effect to the original picture. Though sometimes, the effect is a bit too strong and the options to adjust it afterwards are not always so good. I suppose there are many other ways to achieve such effects in PhotoshopElements, but I just haven't really had time yet to find out more about those (I'm waiting for the Christmas holiday to get some PE time..). In the meantime, I like trying out the Picnik options. My favourites are the 60s style and the CinemaScope, sometimes combining them.
This one here is the CinemaScope effect, in the comment 60s style and combination plus the original shot.

Photo detail run through countless app effect iterations on an iPad Air with Procreate, PhotoWizard, and Brushstrokes. Many colors were changed, sometimes entirely. And the art effects were mixed and sometimes inconsistent, like posterization, oil painting, and plaster. My focus was on overall arrangement of color shapes and on texture. As with most pictures (both mine and those of other people) some parts seem to work and others fall short.
bad news, man. landlord kicked me out. I gotta move.
damn, that's too bad. moving is the worst.
yeah, I hate it. plus, I've accumulated so much stuff. it's unbelievable what's in here. and the thing is, I can't bear leaving any of it, either.
you're taking it all?
yeah, I gotta.
even. . . .even this giant thing?
man, I gotta keep that! I've been through so much with it! it's like a part of the family!
yeah, I know. but, dude. how are you gonna get it out of here?
drive it, of course.
drive it? does it even run?
you mean it might not? don't even say that!
ok, you didn't hear it from me. I'm sure it'll start.
thank goodness. you had me worried there for a second.
it's in perfect shape.
I know! isn't it?
totally.
Hot humid weather for days here near Lake Erie has me napping and envisioning images, sounds, and other sensations of a group and their song "California Dreaming". Of course I envision my own talented group and have named them - "The Howling Beach SPOOS"..... from left to right Birdie, Maple, Barbie, Gunther, Diamond and on bottom left to right is Midnight and Ebbie.....click below for sounds effects.....Ebbie
