Great light effects between the big dark clouds!
This January day was really a present for a photographer-heart. On one side big dark clouds with fantastic light effects, on the other side an almost clear, deep blue sky.
I think I'll never get back such a great photo selection, as on this day!

Last one, honest. This is the maddest prismatic effect from Leuchars Air Show - straight out of Industrial Light & Magic, like Marty McFly's DeLorean hitting the 'time' barrier. I was off target when I took the shot, hence the harsh cropping.

Drug Side Effects:
A side effect is usually regarded as an undesirable secondary effect which occurs in addition to the desired therapeutic effect of a drug or medication. Side effects may vary for each individual depending on the person's disease state, age, weight, gender, ethnicity and general health.
Side effects can occur when commencing, decreasing/increasing dosages, or ending a drug or medication regimen. Side effects may also lead to non-compliance with prescribed treatment. When side effects of a drug or medication are severe, the dosage may be adjusted or a second medication may be prescribed. Lifestyle or dietary changes may also help to minimize side effects.
I added the Studio Pallette Oil effect in Topaz Studio II to this photo I took of a crepe myrtle and weeping willow tree above our driveway in Madison, Alabama.
I love trying out the effects in Picnik, always funny to see how it changes the tones and colours of a picture and often I can't really decided which one I like best. And often, I prefer the added effect to the original picture. Though sometimes, the effect is a bit too strong and the options to adjust it afterwards are not always so good. I suppose there are many other ways to achieve such effects in PhotoshopElements, but I just haven't really had time yet to find out more about those (I'm waiting for the Christmas holiday to get some PE time..). In the meantime, I like trying out the Picnik options. My favourites are the 60s style and the CinemaScope, sometimes combining them.
This one here is the CinemaScope effect, in the comment 60s style and combination plus the original shot.

While i was looking at the pictures I took for this week MACRO MONDAY , I found this wonder. It is a test shot, done only for testing lights and focus, but is so fascinating that I couldn't help to publish it.
There is something primeval, is a blend of liquid and ethereal, organic and alien...
