Used photoshop *cough* elements to recreate a "photocrom" effect on this shot from cave hill cemetery. Its supposed to give it that "old postcard" effect.
Aside from a tiny bit of rotation and parallax correction, this picture is presented as it was otherwise taken. The hand — which is my daughters — is resting inside a vertical hollow section in a wooden roof support at a theme park ride, which is lit from above by a blue light as an ambiance effect. Simple.
I went easy on the contrast, heavy on the 'fill light' effect and stingy on the darks. With Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, I added a light vignette effect to make the flowers seem to jump out of the screen. If you know what I mean. The reflection off the restaurant window seems to add something to this simple floral street photo.
