The dove owns the food dish. She sits in it all day, even if there is no seed in it. This time, the Jays all want to eat. She moved off the dish, but she is not moving any farther away. I expect a nest in the spring...lol

Mi relación de amor con estos señores empezó hará un par de años cuando mi padre (quién si no... xD) me mostró su primer álbum y yo me quedé con la boca bien abierta. Impresionante lo que consiguieron decirme con sus letras y melodías, quizá porque llegaron en el momento que los necesitaba, quizá porque, simplemente, son buenos de cojones.
Luego me enteré de la salida de su segundo disco (y en casa de Tomásh vimos el maravilloso vídeo de su single, aunque creo que yo soy la única que lo recuerda XDD) y cuando supe que venían a Almería... matadme si queréis, pero me gasté el dineral de la entrada únicamente por ellos (que sí, que me gustan Goldfrapp, la china loca y demás... pero es que fue ver el nombre de los Editors y decir: VOY, no matter what). Fui al Ola con el único objetivo de verlos a ellos, el resto me daba un poco igual. Estaba dispuesta a sacrificar al resto de artistas por ir a este concierto. Y si eso os extraña en mí es que todavía no conocéis mis psicopatías musicales xDDD
Así que era cuestión de tiempo que me reobsesionara con ellos y creo que llevo así desde hace ya algunos meses. Y es que, como me pasa con Trent, hay ciertas cosas de mi vida que sólo sé explicar con canciones y gracias a ellos soy capaz de expresarlo. Y, para colmo, el concierto que nos brindaron fue increíble y emocionalmente demoledor. Así que, qué demonios, GRACIAS. Y a Deira por haberme soportado estos meses cuando decía "a mí me da igual, yo a quien quiero ver es a los Editors"... porque al final, como era de esperar, me ha entendido ;)

There are many things my dad taught me, one of them is a love of classic cars and hot-rods. Not that I'd consider myself a 'car guy' but they are fun to look at and even photograph!

These cosmopolitan little fish are found along the Texas coast and range from the Atlantic to Pacific Oceans. Ph.D. student Hannah Rempel and Assistant Professor Jordan Casey use cutting-edge molecular tools like DNA metabarcoding to study the diets of this small, abundant fish. The techniques the researchers use with this species may lead to better understanding of the diets of other omnivorous fishes that also consume microscopic prey and play a critical role in marine food webs.
