The Macro Mondays theme for this week is "EDC". ie your "everyday carry" or EDC. Red farmer handkerchief in pocket. Guess you can take the boy out of the country but not the country out of the boy as I still like them.
For Macro Mondays 'Every Day Carry' theme - my spare contact lens case that I carry around with me. I usually really need it when I don't have it with me.
I try to keep a pot of nuts in my bag for those times I feel a bit peckish so I don't get tempted to buy unhealthy snacks. Every Day Carry for Macro Mondays.

I found a good idea online - raise the knife above the surface of the background, which should make it appear to float above the surface. In this case, I used a 2" bolt with nuts on each end, and balanced the knife on top of the bolt. The bolt is hidden from view. Maybe I should have used a different color background. Oh well, too late now.
This small utility tool has been on my key ring for well over 15 years. I found it for sale on a checkout line in a stationery store. It has been a steady EDC for me except when traveling by plane.

Small flashlight -- definitely a wintertime EDC for the Macro Monday Challenge, EDC. Since I live in Utah where we have no permit concealed carry for firearms I was tempted to do a closeup of a gun. Plenty of people here are "packin' " these days. Guns are an EDC for an an amazing number of people here. Area shown is about 55mm square.
