I'm a minimalist when it comes to every day carry. Being a numbers guy, the one thing that is constantly in my pocket is a digital pedometer.

Illumination: LED flashlght (also carried when I go for an evening walk).

I never leave home without them: two Lathermen, a notebook and a pen. Ii don't think a day goes by that I don't have a use for at least one of them.

There's simply no way to make a pretty picture out of these battered old tools that have been in my pockets for years.

Created for everyday carry (EDC) theme in Macro Monday HMM! :-) Something that you always carry with you when you go out, other than the usual wallet, key, phone.

This metal nail file has been in my pocketbook since the 70s! It has endured many pocketbooks and now I’m thinking I should include it in my will. lol.. It sure is sturdy and still does the most fab job at what it’s made for. Why the paper nail files are popular is beyond me. But I digress.. I took this macro inside my pocketbook as I love polka dots. Hope you enjoy.

In Winter, days are so short that it is dark when you try to take your bicycle to work and also when you bike home... I need these lights to actually find the bike at the garden :-)

I almost never go out with any extras when I'm out with my camera. Possibly, the mobile phone and a couple of clean tissues.

The front door key? Almost never, unless I know G isn't at home - which just doesn't happen. But this was far more photogenic than the mobile phone or a couple of clean tissues!
