and mobile phone.

This subject would not be an EDC during pre-Covid time in most countries. Maybe so in some Asian countries like Japan and China.
But now it is an EDC. One you feel uncomfortable not having when you leave home, ie A Mask.
I crunched this mask up with a paper clip and hang it in front of a table lamp with an incandescent LED globe.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a red day at Color My World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is everyday carry (EDC) but different than your wallet or keys. So in my case, I always carry with me this little pendant of a Fatima hand. When I was a teenager (very, very long time ago), I was living in Algeria and I was missing my grandmother very much. So with my own money I got this pendant for her. I put it in an envelope and send it from Algeria to Poland. The letter got lost (which happened plenty of times back then) and it magically reappeared few months after in my grandmother’s mail box. The letter got many stamps from other eastern European’s countries. Only this tiny pendant knows where exactly it went to end up in the hands of the person it was originally destined for. When my grandmother died, I got my pendant back and since then it never ever leaves my wallet. I always carry it with me and it has a huge emotional value for me. I truly believe it brings me luck and protects me from the evil eye (if it does exist of course)…

As I work a short walking distance from home, all I really need to take with me to the office are my glasses and a card key, yet I lug a big handbag full of stuff with me. A small bottle of perfume is one of those items I carry every day, unsurprisingly it has not been used much.

My every day carry standing up in a pocket of my camera bag. Fifth century Saxons were often times buried with a shield over their face and a knife in their belt. This would probably be the packet of grave goods that would sum up my early twenty-first century life. I used a Canon FD 100mm f4 Macro lens set to f16. This is a focus stack of five images. HMM! Thanks to everyone stopping by to look, like and maybe comment.

A box with two mirrors, one is standard and the other is like a magnifying glass. The size of the box is 7 cm. I have had these mirrors for a long time, but I just noticed in the photo that the box have been damaged a lot over time. I love this box because it is lined with some material that makes it never slide on the table or any other surface so both my hands are free. Several times a day I have to put drops in my eyes and wipe them, so I use this mirror a lot.
