On August 21, 2017 the Night Sky Festival went out with a flare as a partial solar eclipse occurred over Shenandoah National Park. Visitors young and old gathered at Byrd Visitor Center to experience the wonder of this natural phenomenon together.

This set is a chronological photo journey of the 12th annual Eclipse Festival in Quebec, Canada. In all of my travels, I have found Eclipse to be one of the absolute best musical gatherings. All aspects of this event have been meticulously planned and thought out, from production to layout to musical selections and everything in between. The magic is in the air every trip up to Eclipse, this time with big upgrades with large woods camping and a large beautiful lake. With the photos, I wish to show the innovation and vibes of the festival as a small glimpse into the experience. As an event organizer, this is the type of event that you go to and become very motivated to continue creating. Big thank you to the entire Tech Safari crew and all who were involved.

This album is more known as Inner Reggae Rhythm by the Eclips band. Eclipse was a British roots outfit produced by Sidney Crooks of Pioneers fame. This being the groups only album from what I know (if you disregard the differently titled version on Canadian imprint Pioneer Music). Included are some prime slices of UK roots reggae from the 70's. »Immigration« is a fierce stepper just as is »Jah Can't Fail I« (the former having been released on 12" without dub!) whilst songs such as »Come Me Brethren« are just deep one drop skanks. The vibe is very demonstrative of what was heard being dished out in the UK at the time. Remarkable stuff.
The album was released on Baal Records in 1978. Isn't that painting on the cover wonderful by the way? It looks like a lovely lovers rock album.

just for the joke here you have the eclipse think taken with my "canyon cn wcam 21" web cam at 80% from lisbon. I know its very bad, but i was there with my spectial glasses and i saw it better with my eyes over that glasses.
