Clouds moved in soon after Maximum Eclipse in my neighborhood.
(I had eclipse spectacles to see the moon's shadow on the sun, but don't have suitable equipment to photograph the eclipse.)

I didn't get any eclipse shots that's out of the ordinary, nor the infamous ring of fire but unexpectedly, I did get this shot w/ the sun flares indicating the eclipse.
Haven't upload anything up on flickr for a while now.. still pondering if I should continue my subscription. Anyhow, for now you can find me on 500px or my website (www.ronlimphotography.com).

eclipse moon song is a gorgeous female adult Alaskan Tundra Wolf (canis lupus tundrarum) she is a black phase meaning she was born solid black, and has phased out to the salt n pepper tones you see in her adult coat. Black phase wolves no matter the subspecies continue to phase out for all their lives. Eclipse resides at a licensed Canadian Wolf Outreach Center and Eco Lodge in Saskatchewan. For more info on her, and the other captive wild ambassadors that reside here, please visit our main website.
The moon eclipse last night (08.11.2022). Moonrise was about 8 p.m. I went out to the neighbouring higher ground to watch it. Initially it was cloudy and the moon was hiding away. At about 8:30, it slowly emerged and red-faced due to her lateness. It was so faint then, even the camera couldn't pick up any images. My first successful photo was at about 9. Full eclipse was alreay on the way. I couldn't stay too long due to mosquito bites and had to leave when I felt my blood became sucked dry. I keep the moon smaller in order to show the surrounding stars.
Jayhawks, did you see the super moon eclipse Sunday? Tony Raper, a junior in mechanical engineering, was studying for a Mechanics of Materials test when he remembered it was time for the eclipse. Grabbing his camera and tripod, he drove to the Hill for a moonlit study break. Raper shared his technique for other photographers: He shot this on a 1.3 exposure at f9.0, 800 ISO, and 150mm.
Once the eclipse was over, it was back to Spahr Library. We hope you did well on your test, Tony!
Did you get a chance to #exploreKU under the #SuperBloodMoon?
