What a night listening to Tim Gaze and The Echoes playing the music of Eric "Slowhand" Clapton at Club Burleigh. This was simple music, stripped back music, no fancy costume changes - this was the way Blues and Rock are meant to be played, au naturale - raw and plain. And boy did those of us present get treated to some great guitar playing by one of the best in the business, ably backed by some great musicians. For someone who grew up with the music of The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes it was so Wonderful Tonight! Slowhand - The Music Of Eric Clapton performed by Tim Gaze

The Sacred Garden 光の庭｜中村眞弥子 個展

光之庭，一個充滿了光的地方，五種元素在此和諧互滲，火、水、土、風與空間。它們分別象徵著陽光、細雨、樹木和植物、蝴蝶以及花園本身。

本展的靈感來自於藝術家本人與家人居住的所在，一個有著庭院、自然與人們和平共處的所在。與尋常生活平行的時空裡，她透過不間斷的創作探索普世的議題，思量自然的循環與生命的流動。

中村眞弥子 試圖利用在台灣集結的素材，重現她在東京工作室的庭院。她相信神性存在於每一個自然物中，而她所使用的每一件材料都是神聖且彌足珍貴的。

除了一些近期的繪畫，本展也將透過裝置、水繪等創作計畫與工作坊等形式呈現。

光の庭は、5つのエレメントが調和した光に満ちた場所です：火、水、土、風、宇宙。それぞれ、太陽の光、雨、草木、蝶、そして庭そのものを象徴しています。

この展覧会は、アトリエと中庭を囲むように暮らす家族の生活からインスピレーションを得ました。

わたしにとって、とても個人的な場所であり、その日常の中で、自然の生命のサイクルと家族の営みが静かに交錯する様を見つめています。

本展では、台湾の台中にある素材を用いて、新しいかたちになった東京のアトリエの中庭をご覧いただけます。

展覧会の構成は以下の通りです。

ウォーター‧ドローイング、ブランチ‧インスタレーション、ブランチ‧ドローイング、バタフライ‧インスタレーション、ガーデン‧ドローイング、ペインティング（キャンバス‧パネル）。また、ワークショップも予定しています。

中村 眞弥子 Mayako Nakamura

畫家，1976 年出生，於東京生活與工作，2009年開始在國內外展出其作品。除了繪畫，其創作也延伸至生活的各個領域，或為壁畫、音樂專輯、書籍封面、食器與服裝等等。

「我追隨著身體所感覺到的日常生活中之各種空間形貌與邊界。當數種不同的感覺與我已知的真實印象，以及我心所嚮往的宇宙形貌交織在一起時，另一個每日在我的畫布上浮現。我試著藉由描繪那無法被言語表達的氣氛、情緒與動作，去創造似乎比實際之生活起居更為重要與本質的另一種日常；不怎麼特別，但確實存在。」_ Mayako Nakamura

Echo Park Rising 2013 on a balmy afternoon.

Echo Dot is a without hands shrewd speaker that you control utilizing your voice. It associates with Alexa – a cloud based voice administration to play music, make calls, check climate and news, set alerts, control brilliant home gadgets, and considerably more.

Call or message anybody sans hands who additionally has an Echo gadget or the Alexa App. Basically ask "Alexa, how would I set up calling?" to begin.

This graceful public stairway is the most ornate in Echo Park.

For whatever reason, I spent a lot of time on this year's survey exploring Echo Street. By no means a through street, it does parallel Figueroa. It also has an interesting distinction of intersecting with Hayes Avenue, not once, not twice, but three times in Highland Park. So please be advised if you plan to meet someone on the corner of Echo & Hayes.
