It's that magical time of year at Echo Ridge. Fires are lit and cabins are warm as the snow starts to fall on the evergreen forests. Hear the ice sing under the setting sun and make a wish upon a shooting star.
Skate, Toboggan and explore before snuggling under a blanket beside the campfire while sharing stories over a mug of hot chocolate.

Probably a slight exaggeration, but after all this is Echo Point in the highlands of Kerala. Kerala is a district in Southern India highly regarded for its beautiful natural wonders. This is only one area that delights people. To think that I almost did not include this in my itinerary.
The reason was that I had spent time in the highlands of Sri Lanka and thought nothing could surpass the glorious vistas and landscape of that area. Well, beware if your mind ever goes to that place. You just might miss an opportunity of a lifetime. I have never seen an area quite as beautiful as the hillsides and lakes of this paradise in India!
