To unpathed waters, undreamed shores.
The destiny of man is in his own soul.
Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold;
the feeling of happiness dwells in the soul.
In the hopes of reaching the moon men fail to see
...the flower that blossom at their feet.
There are many things in my medicine bundle.
There are many feathers in my headdress.
There is great wisdom in my soul.
There is great strenght in my body.
There is great love in my heart.
With these, I will traverse all that lies on the path ahead...

Echo Lake is a themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It is the park's small oval-shaped lagoon, which was designed to form one of the ears in the enormous Hidden Mickey from the park's original layout. Surrounding it are numerous attractions and services, some structures are designed to mimic the "California Crazy" form of architecture from Hollywood's Golden Age.

This is the first time I have tried bracketing. This technique works really well, two shots one with building detail the other with sky detail stitched together to fill the frame properly

"Echo"
Inspired by the myth of the Greek nymph Echo lost in a state of thoughts and dreams.

Went for a Sunday drive today and decided to blow some dust off of my camera and try to come home with a few shots. I drove up Squaw Pass through Evergreen into Idaho Springs and stopped by Echo Lake. It was pretty chilly and starting to snow a bit so I didn't spend a lot of time there. On this shot I was hoping to get a glimpse of the Mountains in the background but the storm didn't want to cooperate with me. Oh well, I still enjoy this shot.
