Christmas Countdown - 5 -Rudolph the Red-Nosed Echo
Today's yoga class was extremely satisfying. I was able to push myself to my limits without breaking a sweat. I wanted to hold every pose for a longer period of time than the instructor would allow. I had also noticed that the gentleman behind me was unusually flexible (especially for a big guy) which also encouraged me to try harder. Funny enough, I found out that this car belonged to him as we were leaving the studio.
Photographer notes - The car and the decor looks better in person. Too bad I only had my iPhone camera at the time.

Echo is waiting for her twin sister who will be here in a couple of weeks! Waiting to give her heart to Shadow
Shari and I wandered around Echo Park in Los Angeles, California for the first time. Lots of things offbounds, but, looks like it's going to be pretty neat.
Echo Canyon is a slot canyon along the East Rim trail, we stopped for photos but did not really explore it, as we were not knowledgeable of slot canyons. It is a place I would like to return to one day.

This was a very special show to me. When I was 19, I moved to London, fell in love for the first time and The Maccabees were part of that life soundtrack. I listened to "Colour It In" while riding the tube to work, laying around on a lazy Sunday with the boy, and while dancing around the various clubs in town. The last time I saw them was at Astoria, London but this acoustic session still gives me shivers.
Their show on Friday was amazing. Not only were they such gracious gents on stage but their music made my heart explode. I started crying from happiness when they played "First Love" and "Precious Time." When music moves you like this, you remember why you can't live without it.
