Near Lake Travers, Algonquin Park. The remnants of "The Booth Turtle Club", built in 1933 by the JR Booth family. The club was built in the shape of a turtle, and the 5 fireplaces were the legs and tail of a turtle.

I know some of these are blurry but I still like them ... the colour of the costumes, the movement, the energy.
The Echo Dance Association is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to promoting community arts through dance performances and related activities. Founded in 1998 in Toronto, succeeding its forerunner originally founded in 1981 in Taiwan by Ms Lee Li-Hsuan Huang, the Echo Dance Association celebrates and promotes multiculturalism through its modern and Chinese cultural dances and many activities that involve and educate the greater community.
With the intensification of the migratory crisis caused by the war in Syria, Hungary, Serbia and Macedonia close their borders to thousands of people fleeing, breaking an ancient migratory route: the Balkan route. In Greece, along the barbed wire of the Macedonian border, men, women and children gather in camps, in huge self-managed tent cities, where NGOs, volunteers and activists are challenging the game of mafias of human traffickers.
Echoes shows a limbo in which the desperation of a pending future contrasts with a vital and stubborn resistance, focusing her gaze on the day before the eviction of Eko Station, the last remaining informal camp in northern Greece. Through the frequencies of a pirate radio, words and rebel songs echo in the silence imposed by the Fortress Europe.

True to the name, Echo Cliffs really do make pretty good echoes. Which meant a lot of hooting and yelling by the kids.
The Echo Room in the Great Saltpetre Cave has been used for different functions such as weddings and concerts. Years ago, dances were held here and broadcast over WLW radio.
