Near the Belle Reve penitentiary main gates, a wide yard stretches out from wall to wall. Primarily dirt, this is where countless inmates, under scrupulous supervision, take their exercise, smoke freely, or get into knife fights. The ones alowed out of their cells, anyways. Today however, the yard is ablaze. The sparse grass smokes and sputters, and inmates run freely, crashing through windows and knifing whom they please.
Overhead, the sky darkens, and the sun begins to disappear, almost symbolically. Far off in the distance, a roll of thunder is head, and the startling flash of lightning can be seen by the few who care to notice.
In two minutes, no one else will die.
Doctor Harleen Quinzel, and J. Daniel Murphy stand over the inert, electrified body of Roger Hayden, The Psycho-Pirate. He twitches slightly.
Murph: Doc, I gotta ask, you carry some kinda power-dampener with ya?
Harley, smiles, and hands him The Medusa Mask: No, Mister Murphy, I’ve just been workin real hard with my therapist. Huh, seems like it’s startin’ to rain.
At that moment, a wall nearby shatters into dust and debris. Bodily, two men are thrown through the newly-established door, and land in a heap. Emotionally numb all day, to Deadshot, this was nothing. To Captain Boomerang, this was one of his more graceful landings.
Following close behind, in a whirl of crackling energy and whipping flames, come the instigators of this devastating afternoon: Satanus and Blaze.
Murph: Backup to the yard, BACKUP TO THE YARD.
Harley: Yeah, I . . . Don’t think I can talk those two down.
Blaze moves towards Boomerang with the speed of a snake. She floats over him and smiles.
Blaze: Make peace with your flimsy god, little man.
Boomerang: David Schummy, who art in Australia, hallowed by thy name . . .
Satanus laughs none, he tires of this escapade, of these insignificant people. Of this man in the silver mask who shot him in the leg. Deadshot just sits. He too is tired, uninterested. What happens happens, he thinks as Satanus grabs a fistful of Deadshot’s uniform and lifts him off the ground.
Satanus: Are you prepared to die, shootist?
Deadshot catches a glimpse of himself, a reflection in Satanus’s helmet. There is a bullet-hole in his own forehead.
Deadshot: I’ve been dead all day.
It’s at that moment, the thunder sneaks up on clouded toes and cracks itself impossibly loud overhead. A bolt of lightning, cold, white and hard, strikes the ground a mere feet from where Satanus and Blaze are about to make their kills. What passes for their hearts each skip a beat, as they realize who is nigh.
Satanus: The Marvel!
Blaze: The Mortal!
When the sparks subside, the boisterous, awe-inspiring form of Captain Marvel raises from his kneel.
Captain Marvel: AH there you two are! Y’know, you’re out way past bedtime!
He flies forward, quick as Mercury, and socks Satanus in the jaw.
Cap: Your dad’s getting worried! He’s just up there at the Rock of Eternity –
He throws Satanus into Blaze and grabs them both by the capes,
Cap: -- wondering where his kids are!
He holds each sibling in each hand, then whacks their heads together, instantly knocking them out cold.
Cap, to Murph: Good afternoon, sir, are you in charge of this lovely, if not slightly tarnished prison?
Murph: Er uh, I guess so? The boss is out, so I guess I’ll do.
Answer, over the loudspeakers: Hold it right there, captain mustache, when the Boss is away, it’s me who has the say. Welcome to Belle Reve, Mr. Marvel.
Cap, to the air: Uh, thanks! Tell me, is there anything else I can do here?
Harley has been staring at Captain Marvel since he landed. She’s gone up against Superman, against Wonder Woman, and yet still somehow, The towering, red-suited man manages to have both the former’s easygoing nature, and the latter’s mystic splendor. And some serious muscles to boot.
Harley, despite herself: Y-yes! Yes in fact, there’s a riot. Real bad! Like Natural Born Killers bad! W-we need ya to stick around and help re-capture all these bad guys!
Captain Marvel: Well that sounds like just the job for me!
Captain Marvel lifts off a little ways into the air, and lands hard down in front of Boomerang and Deadshot.
Cap: I believe I’ve heard tell of you two from my esteemed colleagues, Batman and the Flash! Time to return to your cells now, natural born killers!
Boomerang: Now ‘old on minute!
Deadshot says nothing, he merely stares at Captain Marvels’ forehead.
Harley: Wait hold on, they work here!
Captain Marvel: Ah! You’re in clever disguise as bad guys! *he whispers* I won’t blow your cover, don’t worry. *he turns to Harley* Show me the way, Ms. . . . ?
Harley, shaking his hand gently, her hand sweaty and delicate in his, warm and firm: H-Harleen! Harleen Quinzel!
Cap: Harleen Quin- . . . Harley Quinn? *he is slightly aghast* Aren’t you a villain as well?
Harley: Wha- me? No, no no, I’m a doctor now! My baddie days are over’n done, cross my heart an’ hope to die!
Cap thinks for a minute, then extends his smallest finger: Pinky swear?
Harley: Ahahaha, *she locks pinkies* Yeah, pinky swear.
Cap: Splendid! Now let’s see what we can do about cleaning this place up.
Captain Marvel, with Harley Quinn, Digger Harkness, Floyd Lawton, J Daniel Murphy, and a host of relieved guards, begin to slowly put everything back together. It won’t be instant, they recognize, but eventually, order (and the power) would be fully restored. The World’s Mightiest Mortal, in a matter of an hour, manages to secure every prisoner left. Bit Wladon is found conversing quietly with Angelo Bend, and returns to his cell just as peacefully. Harley assists the prison doctors in tending to the wounded, when she can, she sneaks glances at the muscular man in red. The guards begin to tidy, and secure the perimeter while Murph takes stock of what they’ll need to rebuild. Floyd and Digger, slowly, remove the dead and take them to the incinerator room.
Digger: Wouldn’t you hate to be the bloke that tells some rotters’ family that he went and kicked it?
To Floyd, the bodies never looked any different.
In the monitor room, Black Orchid lays stretched out on the table near the back of the room, cleared of its empty bottles, thick books and unloaded handguns. Next to her stands Michael Patten, the bottom part of his mask pulled up, exposing his few-day beard.
Answer: Y’did good, Flower Pot, I’m proud of you. Get a couple-days rest and pretty soon that songbird voice of yours will be good-as-new.
She smiles, and caresses his face. He smiles back, holds her hand a minute, then pulls his mask back down and turns around.
Answer: That goes to all you carnival freaks as well, I may not actually be in charge, but The Wall’s gone so I’m going to damn well going to act like it! That was a fucken mess, but we pulled through!
Cap: Language please, Mister!
Answer: Language? Language?! What are you, a twelve-year-old boy?! And why did you just suddenly pale like a milk-soaked sheet? I’ll say what I damn well goddamn please in my Monitor room! I’ll-
Orchid grasps his arm lightly.
Answer: I. . . sorry, it’s been a stressful day. As long as you’re here boy-scout-man, I’ll try and keep it on the inside.
Cap: Thank you, sir!
Digger: With luck, ole ‘Manda won’t even notice we ‘ad a riot.
Floyd, thinking about all the holes in the walls: I wouldn’t be too sure about that.
Cap: Well, if there’s nothing else I can help with today, I may as well be on my way!
Harley: Wait!
All eyes turn to her, excepts Answers, sucked into the blank blue void of screens.
Harley: I, er, uh, We should all go to dinner! You! Me! Gun-guy and stick guy! Punctuation Man and-and Flower girl!
Digger: Stick-guy?
Answer: Oh no, not me! Do you know what the underpaid workers of even the finest establishments do to the food? Cause I do. Orchid and I grow all our own food, thank you.
Cap: It’s a very kind offer, but don’t you folks have jobs to do?
Digger: I’d say we just did em!
Harley: Yeah! Plus Waller’s away and uh, when the cat’s away the convi-er, trained professionals will play! Besides, the government can afford to pay us in Italian food every once inna while.
Cap: Well alright! As long as I’m not imposing!
Harley squees slightly and wraps her arms around one of his own, strong and impossibly muscular, and begins to lead him out of the room.
Answer, to Floyd and Digger, still looking at his monitors: Well, you’d better go with em. That boy’s a beefcake, and she’s gonna need a chaperone. There’s nothing in this world more depressing and chastity-keeping than your ugly mugs.
I am that perfect creature lol a 'Happy Tranny', I'm easygoing and have no hang-ups but even Jojo suffers from mild feelings of guilt from time to time. I'm okay at the moment and all I have to do is look in the mirror to see that if wasn't a man I should most definately be a woman and it was a wise choice. What's more it is something that makes me happy and I love it so much I like to share my world with you all. I know I do post a lot of pictures but every day is different and I always have something to say, indeed before I even sharted this I knew it would be a fascinating journey something that made me want even more to give it a try. These days I am a lot more sexually liberated and dress more to please which makes swimsuits and bikinis favourites of mine but nobody can say this expensive Gottex swimsuit makes me look slutty. I am a nice girl after all and all I need now is a handsome millionaire or two.

Hello there! :) Crazy small waves crashed against the rocks, loved the energy! A blustery yet easygoing wind made the stay much more pleasant. What's really amazing is when you can actually feel and touch things around you. Ahh, a gentle vision.

Her name is Himawari (but friends call her Hima-chan). She's an easygoing girl who loves cute things, animated characters and reading manga. I was very happy to finally have the opportunity this past fall to do some street portraiture in India and Nepal, something I've been looking forward to doing for some time. This is the first of many shots from my travels that I'll be sharing over the coming weeks and months. I hope you enjoy them!
Prior to my departure, I contemplated buying the Sony 50mm f1.8 lens. However, I decided for this trip to go with the lenses I already owned for portraiture--the Sigma 60mm f2.8, Canon FD 50mm f1.4 and Nikkor 105mm f2.5 AI. Needless to say, I got lots of practice with Sony's incredible "focus peaking" for the manual focus lenses, while my subjects waited patiently! In spite of my relatively bad eyesight, focus peaking enabled me to dial in quite well on the eyes of my kind subjects.

I have worked with a few stallions in my life and Jet is probably my most favorite. He is so easygoing and posed perfectly in front of the camera.
He and his owner are well worth the 10 hour round trip for visits up north.

Front façade and front yard of Gråsten Palace (in Danish: "Gråsten Slot") in the town of Gråsten on the Jutland peninsula, Syddanmark region, Denmark
Some background information:
Gråsten Palace is located in the town of Gråsten on the Jutland Juland peninsula in the Danish region of Syddanmark. It is best known for being the summer residence of the Danish royal family. Its Danish name is "Gråsten Slot" and its German name "Schloss Gravenstein". The main house has a modern, all-white facade, with Venetian doors opening onto sweeping, manicured lawns and gravel walkways. The grounds include a huge stables court and an extensive landscaped garden.
The history of Gråsten Palace began in the middle of the 16th century, when it was built as a small hunting château. Shortly after it was erected, it was destroyed by a fire. In 1603, a second structure was built on the site, where the hunting château was located. But under the ownership of Carl von Ahlefeldt, Earl of Langeland, governor-general of Schleswig-Holstein and a member of the inner circle of the Danish King Frederick IV, also the second palace was demolished in favour of a grand Baroque style palace built in the years leading up to 1700.
However, this third palace was again devastated by a fire in 1757, when it was owned by Frederick Christian I, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg. Only the palace chapel and two pavilions survived. Already two years later, in 1759, the duke commissioned the German-Danish architect Johann Gottfried Rosenberg to rebuild the fourth and current palace in Rococo-style, though considerably smaller than its predecessor building.
In 1852, then Duke Christian August II was exiled due to his pro-German stance in the Schleswig-Holstein War. In the same year, he transferred his estates, including Gråsten Palace, to the Danish state. In 1863, his eldest son Friedrich declared himself Duke of Schleswig-Holstein. However, after the German-Danish War of 1864, Friedrich‘s younger brother Christian was forbidden by Bismarck, to spend his honeymoon there with his English wife, Helena of Great Britain and Ireland.
After Schleswig-Holstein had become a Prussian province in 1867, Friedrich regained the palace. Following the cession of Northern Schleswig to Denmark in 1920, the mansion returned to the Danish state, which granted its use to the royal family in 1935. At that time it was given as a summer residence to Crown Prince Frederik (later King Frederik IX) and his Swedish-born Crown Princess Ingrid (later Queen Ingrid), who especially adored the palace until her death in November 2000.
Today, Gråsten Palace is still the summer residence of the Danish royal family. During the royal fami‘y's stays, parades and changing of the guard take place. The guard marches from Ahlefeldvej, where the Royal Guards gather at around 11:30 am, through the town of Gråsten to the palace, where the changing of the guard takes place at 12:00 pm.
The interior of the building is not open to the public, but the beautiful extensive garden is. It is designed in the style of an English landscaped garden. Queen Ingrid, with her great interest in flowers and gardens, had a significant influence on the current appearance of the grounds. The park also features a swimming pool and a tennis court, and the entire estate is located by a lake. For former Queen Margrethe II’s 80th birthday, the park was expanded with a kitchen garden, a gift from Danish entrepreneurs.
The town of Gråsten is located on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark at an inlet of the Flensburg Fjord. It has more than 4,300 residents and belongs to the Sønderborg municipality. The Egernsund Bridge, which crosses the Egern Strait, connects Gråsten with the town of Egernsund. Gråsten evolved around the first hunting château in the second half of the 16th century. In its early days, it was just a feudal estate belonging to the larger Seegaard manor, which was the largest noble estate in the dukedom of Schleswig by far.
In 1725, Gråsten became an independent estate. Being under the duke’s protection, its residents could exercise their businesses freely. After the 1920 referendum, Northern Schleswig became part of the Kingdom of Denmark and Gråsten became a parish municipality in the Aabenraa County. In 1957, Gråsten and Adsbøl were merged to form the parish municipality of Gråsten-Adsbøl. Although Gråsten advocated for continued independence, the municipality was merged into the larger Sønderborg municipality in 2007.

I was in a very good mood but that has changed because someone has really upset me. Amazing how just 10 years separate these two cars (especially when one considers there were another two generations of Sunny in that period). Obviously the newer car is quieter, faster and better-equipped, and with FWD plus OHC engine drives differently too, but both have a pleasant, easygoing nature to them.
Mark also owns an example of the Sunny which precedes mine (B10 '1000' model, the well-known former press car) so it was interesting to hear his thoughts on mine.

I never really thought about it at the time but when I used to look at the girls in top-shelf magazines like Mayfair and Men Only I was getting more aroused imagining I was the girl being pleasured with her sensitive breasts and gorgeous body not the man. So it's not surprising then as I always envied them and even though it was not a big deal or a personal problem I knew at the back of my mind I would rather have been female. Feren sighed happily, breathing in the fresh night's air. Nothing like a walk in the night to freshen you up. Feren was taking another one of his nightly walks, pondering the change of leaders in Avalonia. Even though I will miss Lord Varis, Lord Simon is a very good friend of mine, and his loyalty to Avalonia is unquestionable. His leadership skills will prove useful in the coming times, as we will most likely soon learn what the Drow are up to, and what we need to do to defend. As he trudged through the alleyway, next to the tavern, his fine-tuned ears picked up a conversation. Cocking his head to one side, he concentrated on the source. It's coming from the 2nd floor of the tavern, he realized. Flattening himself next to the wall, he debated whether he should climb it, but discarded the idea. If someone walks by, that would be extremely embarrassing to be caught spying on 2 of my citizens. He listened in, and was just in time to hear them talking about their new leader.
"What do you think of this new leader, Simon of Nalderic?"
Feren's eyes widened, it was one of his Elite Rangers, a man by the name of Roger. He must be taking a break from his shift.
"Meh, I personally don't care, as long as he doesn't do anything stupid, and is fair, I'm good."
Feren nodded, this man was one of his friends, Gavin was his name. A good man, but slightly on the easygoing side of things, he was very lenient in political matters.
"Well," Roger said, "I am glad in the change, as my Lord Feren is a good friend with Lord Simon, I know him to be a fantastic leader, and a good man. I am sure he will make a wonderful leader."
Good man, Feren thought to himself. He yawned. It was time he went back to the keep, and to his toasty bed. I've heard enough, things seem to be going well here in Marrock Fortress......I really need to change the name of my castle, it's to repetitive with my island.....anyway my Rangers seem to like him, so that's good. I pray that Simon will turn out to be a good leader as we think he will be, we will need one soon..."
Turning around, he silently padded around the corner, and back to the keep.
Well, this is my 2nd entry into GoH for the Avalonia mini challenge, and it was an extremely fun build. I had fun building the interior, I need to experiment more with that. Tell me what you think of it, I would love to get better with interiors!

Another of several from last weekend's Santa Cruz area photowalk. I'll be posting the rest eventually, but right now I'm trying to keep my head above water with work-related tasks and Christmas preparations. In fact, I'll be heading out to pick up some gifts shortly. I'll be going to the mall, which I'm sure will be a nice, easygoing, relaxing experience :)

Crawled back in bed after dropping the boys off at school. The beauty of spring brings sinus allergies which brings headaches... luckily they aren't too bad. :)

I met Marita at the flea market this afternoon. I was fascinated by the light and shadow patterns coming through her hat, falling nicely on her face.
Marita is 47 y/o, mother to a tall and handsome 17 y/o son. Accordingly, her challenge at the moment is to understand a teenager’s easygoing lifestyle. Having said that, Marita adds that life is quite good at the moment.
She works in the IT world and loves to sport and go to the gym on her free time.

This flower is called a Mandavilla and is pretty big, about 6 inches in diameter. The plant is sitting in my friend Jackie's front yard. I got down on the ground and aimed up at the deep blue sky with no clouds. The textures lightened it.
I used Glorious Nature Art- The girl next door hummingbird overlay normal. Soulful textures- dark, dreamy, easygoing, carefree and grainy canvas. Dreamy is the dominant background texture. Also used Florabella- worn linen in pink and white linen overlay.
