Went to see Suzanne Vega last night, who gave a beautiful, sublime performance. Live, she exudes an easygoing warmth and humor that belies her cool, waifish persona.

I was just her, a guitar and sometimes a bass player. All that was needed.

Oh, and I seemed to be the one leading my section of the audience during the "deh deh deh deh de deh deh deh" sing-a-long section of Tom's Diner.

I can't help expressing my struggles.

this is my daily dose of estrogen which I take against the inconveniences caused by menopause, such as: heat flash, sleeplessness and, most irritating and disturbing: shivering attacks.

estrogen helps against all of this, same time I do not feel easygoing with that daily dose.

Salvador (historic name, São Salvador da Baía de Todos os Santos, in English: "Holy Savior of All Saints' Bay") is a city on the northeast coast of Brazil and the capital of the Northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia. Salvador is also known as Brazil's capital of happiness due to its easygoing population and countless popular outdoor parties, including its street carnival. The first colonial capital of Brazil, the city is one of the oldest in the country and in the New World; for a long time, it was also known as Bahia, and appears under that name (or as Salvador da Bahia, Salvador of Bahia so as to differentiate it from other Brazilian cities of the same name) on many maps and books from before the mid-20th century. Salvador is the third most populous Brazilian city, after São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and it is the eighth most populous city in Latin America, after Mexico City, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogotá, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago of Chile.

The city of Salvador is notable in Brazil for its cuisine, music and architecture, and its metropolitan area is the wealthiest in the northeastern region of the country. Over 80% of the population of metropolitan region of Salvador has some Black African ancestry. The African influence in many cultural aspects of the city makes it the center of Afro-Brazilian culture. The historical center of Salvador, frequently called the Pelourinho, is rich in historical monuments dating from the 17th through the 19th centuries and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.

The Mal-Shi is a delightful hybrid breed of dog, resulting from the pairing of a Maltese and Shih Tzu. They first appeared in the United States in the mid-1990s and have become increasingly popular ever since. Beloved for their gentle, easygoing nature and low-allergen coat, Mal-Shis make excellent companions for those with chronic allergies or other sensitivities. Although they inherited their intelligence from both parents, they are often mischievously playful which keeps them endlessly entertaining. Their loyal demeanor and affectionate character quickly endear them to those around them; even complete strangers can't help but be taken by their charm.

Coola

In 2001, Coola was found orphaned on a highway near Bella Coola, BC. His mother had been killed by a truck and, of her three cubs, Coola was the only one to survive. Coola is an easygoing bear who’s content to let Grinder take the lead in new discoveries. He can usually be found submerged up to his neck in the large pond, carefully feeling around for his underwater 'bath toys' - a log, large bone and favourite rock.

Rob is 4/100 in my 100 strangers project

Young Circle Park, Hollywood, Miami.

I was with my family on a playground in Hollywood, Miami, when three adults came in and started playing cheerfully. They had an extremely positive vibe, and quite clearly was in touch with their inner child. It brought a smile to my face at once.

But at wasn´t until one of them started doing handstands that I approached and asked if he minded if I took some pictures. “Not at all."

I took some shots of Rob doing handstands using a 24 mm, thinking they would go nicely into my 100 stranger project. But afterwards I took some close-ups to, using a flash.

I opted for using one of the close-ups, because I think they came out the nicest.

Also I was quite happy with having to change from a 24 mm to a 50 mm lens for the close-ups, and using an off-camera flash. Shifting lenses and using flash was/is on my out-of-comfort-to-do-list for this project, making it more like a short shoot-session than a quick snapshot. I´m certainly going to do that more.

Rob was an extremely easygoing and relaxed person. It was a pleasure to talk to you, Rob.

(The two others where his mom and dad - super nice people too!)

Why don´t you photograph 100 strangers? I highly suggest looking at 100 Strangers Flickr Group page for some inspiration.

This is also my first submission to the Human Family Group, by invitation.

Ok, not that anybody cares, but why not make it official? I wanted to explore other wavelengths (than 720nm) in general for a while, especially some Aerochrome type IR imaging, if possible.

So this led to some minor (filters etc.) and a medium size upgrade: Welcome a fullspectrum Nikon D3300, the latest member of the family, and it's my first "entry level" body.

While I do understand some of the limitations it has, others I do not get, but that's a rant for another day. What I care most about is the sensor!, which I know quite well actually, cause my D7200 has the same.

Also, what this definitively showed was that my fullspec D90 I used so far is kind of unicorn, another rant for another day. The verdict whether the D3300 will completely supersede it, or if the D90 has to offer something special, due to it being a unicorn, is still out.

So the advent of the new body made me reinvent, or -discover my IR game completely and I'm in a testing and calibration frenzy for a while now. I do enjoy it for the most part, but it's a freakin' lot!, so I felt the need to throw myself out there over the weekend, do some explorative hikes in the sun while taking plenty of snapshots, hand held, easygoing, straightforward stuff, good fun.

Technically that's my "IRG setup", meaning suitable for the single photo IRG algorithm (JW Wong et al.) I finally managed to pull off, but there are lots of factors involved and the output isn't exactly as aesthetically pleasing as I want it to be, ..so far. That is the method in case you are curious or wanna give it a go:

www.flickr.com/photos/jw_wong/35117360304/

However, an alternative development route kind of emerged out of the chaos which results immediately intrigued me, so of course I was doing that for a bit, to have fun and explore further. I will write about that another time; and share some more. What do you think of it? Cheers

One thing I have noticed during my travels through UK is that people are often very easygoing. For a British it is not a problem to take a sit on the ground to eat or rest, if there are not benches in sight—even for elegant ladies or neat gentlemen. This is Market Square (also called Guildhall Square) on a sunny day, during the lunch break. The wall behind the sitting people is part of the War Memorial.

a welcome change from hectic mountain bike photography

Don't let the easygoing smile fool you...Daisy hates it when I zoom in for a close up like this. Well too bad! 😜

Zihuatanejo, or Zihua as it's affectionately called, is a Pacific paradise of beautiful beaches, friendly people and an easygoing lifestyle.

Guerrero Mexico

Easiest shoot I've done in forever.

Shelbie showed up with a bag of clothes and a new boyfriend, I showed 'em around the new place, they spent a suitable amount of time taking in the new Polaroid wall, then we went to the roof.

There wasn't a point of friction to be found. She showed me an outfit that was bangin', her boyfriend was incredibly nice and easygoing, the sun was bright and hot...okay, it was hot out, there was that, but it wasn't like I was climbing Everest or anything. I got a big old umbrella up there, easy to take a rest in between set-ups.

We were content to stand around and shoot, but then she asked about the strange contraption in the corner, and I had no choice, NO CHOICE, but to demonstrate the full power of the collapsible trampoline, that's what you're looking at here, Shelbie on the trampoline, taking a quick rest (because the trampoline is Shockingly exhausting), us finding a bit of wind, luxuriating in it.

Between that and watching fireworks that spanned the entire city, my roof is paying off in spades.

Heron. There...no, wait, the heron were earlier.

Geese. I'm pretty sure it was geese. They were bigger than ducks, definitely.

Birds, big ol' birds that came and landed in the river behind us while we were shooting, just sailed right in, a good three dozen of 'em, just took our breath away, man.

Rachel turned to look, she saw my expression and turned to see what caused it, and there was this entire flock on final approach. She turned back and giggled at the look of awe on my face.

Yeah, sure, we were talking and shooting and Rachel was doing a great job and I was having a blast, first shoot, new face in front of the lens, getting to ask all the Getting To Know You questions, and she's an easygoing lady, asked as many as she was asked, lots of laughs and walking barefoot in a river that should not be walked in barefoot, and there was that group of three people a little ways away who were also taking photos, I could see a reflector and a camera and they sure were dressed up.

Light was just right the whole time.

AND THAT WEIRD GUY ON THE BIKE WAS THERE AGAIN, JUST CREEPIN' AWAY.

But those birds, man. Yeah, I've seen weird, and I've seen lovely, but those birds...didn't turn my camera towards them, just soaked it up. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Tangelo is a gorgeous buff-orange longhaired young guy (1 year old), who is friendly to people and other cats and quite relaxed/easygoing. We didn't think he'd last long - and he did go home 21 March 2017.

(This is a particularly sweet face pic - helps that Stephanie was here gesturing at him to catch his attention - but the booger is the shutter speed was very fast (to get some decent shots for Petfinder) so this is somewhat grainy. I lowered the shutter speed for some other photos - not as cute alas.)

Title: The Lady Eve (1941) Staring: Barbara Stanwyck, Henry Fonda, Charles Coburn

Black & White portrait of movie actress Barbara Standwyck (that I digitally colored) - My sincere thanks to Dr. Macro’s High Quality Movie Scans for allowing me use of his pictures from his excellent and extensive gallery.

Barbara Stanwyck 16 July, 1907 - 20 January, 1990

Barbara Stanwyck was born Ruby Catherine Stevens on July 16, 1907, in Brooklyn, New York, to working class parents Catherine Ann (McPhee) and Byron E. Stevens. Stanwyck went to work at the local telephone company for fourteen dollars a week, but she had the urge (a dream--that was all it was) somehow to enter show business. When not working, she pounded the pavement in search of dancing jobs. The persistence paid off. Barbara was hired as a chorus girl for the princely sum of $40 a week, much better than the wages she was getting from the phone company. She was seventeen, and was going to make the most of the opportunity that had been given her.

In 1928 Barbara moved to Hollywood, where she was to start one of the most lucrative careers filmdom had ever seen. She was an extremely versatile actress who could adapt to any role. Barbara was equally at home in all genres, from melodramas, such as “Forbidden” (1932) and “Stella Dallas” (1937), to thrillers, such as “Double Indemnity” (1944), one of her best films, also starring Fred MacMurray (as you have never seen him before). She also excelled in comedies such as “Remember the Night” (1940) and “The Lady Eve” (1941). Another genre she excelled in was westerns, “Union Pacific” (1939) being one of her first and TV's “The Big Valley” (1965) (her most memorable role) being her last. In 1983, she played in the ABC hit mini-series “The Thorn Birds” (1983), which did much to keep her in the eye of the public. She turned in an outstanding performance as Mary Carson.

Barbara was considered a gem to work with for her serious but easygoing attitude on the set. She worked hard at being an actress, and she never allowed her star quality to go to her head. She was nominated for four Academy Awards, though she never won. She turned in magnificent performances for all the roles she was nominated for, but the "powers that be" always awarded the Oscar to someone else. However, in 1982 she was awarded an honorary Academy Award for "superlative creativity and unique contribution to the art of screen acting." Sadly, Barbara died on January 20, 1990, leaving 93 movies and a host of TV appearances as her legacy to us.

Barbara Stanwyck was known to millions of fans for her movie career, which spanned the period from 1927 until 1964, after which she appeared on television until 1986. It was a career that lasted for 59 years.

The Car

This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Sedan was digitally recorded by yours truly at the 2019 CCCA Grand Experience.Grand Classics event on the grounds of the Gilmore Museum, Hickory Corners, Michigan.

* Some may argue that the reflection on the side of the car should have been edited out. Two reason why this was not done. One, this would have entailed a great deal more time and effort. Secondly, glossy paint requires some form of reflection in order to show its reflective qualities and this would have required that I “replicate” a reflection of some sort or another……….. a very time consuming and meticulous endeavor.

__________________________________________________

1941 produced another record sales year for Cadillac; sales topped 66,000, exceeding any previous year by 20,000 units and trailing rival Packard by only 7,000 cars. However, of that record number, only 400 were model 62290, the convertible sedan. This is the last year that General Motors produced a convertible sedan in any of its model lines.

Priced at $1,965, and riding on a 126-inch wheelbase, this is the most expensive model in the Cadillac 62 Series. All 1941 Cadillac's were powered by a 346 cubic inch V8, with increased compression, that produced 150 horsepower. New for 1940, was Cadillac's use of the fully shiftless Hydra-Matic transmission. The Hydra-Matic, originally developed by Oldsmobile in 1939, became a staple of the line until 1949. This combination produces a 0-60 mph time of 14 seconds and a top speed of approximately 100 mph.

The Harley Earl designed Cadillac Series 62 De Ville was a very large vehicle that featured a large, 6,390 cc (390 cubic inch) V-8 engine. The back had large fins that did little for performance and handling but was all about the style of the vehicle. The design of the vehicle was inspired by the space program and the era of jet engines. The large, 4400 lb car was fitted with drum brakes. These often wore out quickly. If a U-turn needed to be made, the driver would need a parking lot. The turning radius was 24 feet.

The car was a luxury vehicle that could carry six individuals comfortably. The car was a convertible with the top being raised and lowered automatically. The interior had electrical gauges. The head lights would turn on at dusk and were also capable of switching from high beam to low beam when they sensed oncoming traffic. In total, there were eight lights on the front of the vehicle. The four on the top were the driving lights while the lights mounted on the bumper were the parking lamps. To add to the driving comfort, air suspension was used. This aided in providing a very soft ride but there was significant body roll when cornering. With the V8, it was capable of creeping to sixty in 11 seconds. This reinforced the notion that this Cadillac was built for comfort and not for speed. The drivers enjoyed the ride and they looked good cruising along, enjoying the large open road.

I would certainly place Dana in the top five on my "favourite models to photograph" list. She is very photogenic, a pleasure to work with, and loves to be in front of a camera. This makes the model/photographer relationship, (which is so critically important for superior photos as portrait pros know), a pleasant and fun experience, and that's certainly cool. I have given her MANY of the photos that I have shot of her, and there have been a lot!!! For more photos of Dana, also see my "Dana" set.

I finally reunited with my favorites photo buddy, Jerry, to do a photo shoot I have desperately been wanting to do since we parted 2 years ago! With his catchy BMW convertible (big props to Jerry), we needed just one last element - a stunning blonde - which we lucked out in Brittney!

As inexperienced in car photography as we are, Brittney seemed to know what we were trying to do. Easygoing, light-hearted and down-to-earth would be serious understatements of her. Admittedly, the shoot might have ended up a disappointment if it wasn’t for Brittney’s vivid persona and spectacular performance.

Instead of going for an elegant and timeless look, we deviated to the “California girl” style because well, it’s Malibu and who could resist the flare, the sand and the breeze?!

Of course there’s a lot of room for improvement (e.g. we even forgot to turn on Z4’s headlight… what a dumbass mistake). And yes, I planned this so so so last minute and failed to capture the look I was initially after. But so what? Spending an afternoon in the scenic Malibu and carrying out my first-ever car shoot with these wonderful peeps… it’s invaluable.

Oh, did I mention we wrapped up with legit sushi and lots of laughters?

Please criticize.

As you can tell, just for fun, nothing 'serious', end of February, no vegetation, all brown still, kind of unpredictable weather. I was 'waiting' for filters to arrive, so I gave myself permission to just go outside, roam around, shoot some handheld infrared, easygoing, no aim or much expectation.

I went down my (by now almost established) 'digital Aerochrome' development route, but already, it was evident that it's a tad off, it shifts more towards purple even though it's just a little longer in wavelength (~20nm). It appears that the range from 500 - 600nm is pretty interesting, kind of a mixed zone and for much of it, I don't really have nice ways of development yet. Need to work on that 😊

But I'm really falling for the skies in that range, somewhat natural looking, yet with that crisp infrared pop. Perhaps the vegetation vs sky is not far off an analogous color scheme, since there is often some tint in clouds also. Or when cloudless sky has some green-ish stain, torwards aqua (which I usually correct if I can), it would be complementary to purple, pink etc. I guess. 🤔 Anyway..

Kim McCallum has been my online friend for a long time and in the past two years has been my wing girl first in Atlanta , last year when we met in person for the first time, and then in DC this year. She is as sweet a girl as it gets and a very creative and easygoing person (unless she drops an expensive room service sandwich in the middle of the night). We got to do so many things during our week in Washington from getting our nails done early morning on our first day there to having a lovely dinner at her GG friend's home the last night. Thank you Kim for being such an amazing friend and for putting up with me :)

Here we are having coffee at the cafe next door from our hotel just after returning from the nail salon. You can catch Coleen O'Donnell's reflection in the window as she captured this moment.

Rose and Lila have been home-schooled for almost all of their lives. Now, as they moved in with me, I gave them the freedom to choose between private lessons and going to a real school. They both wanted to try the real school for a change.

Easygoing as she is, Rosie's still a little bit nervous. What if she's not smart enough to keep up with the 3rd graders? Will the other children even like her and want to play with her? And what will happen if she forgets to eat lunch and her stomach rumbles in the middle of maths and everybody laughs at her...?

It'll be alright, silly, says Rosie to herself. She puts her trademark smile on and is ready to go.

Have you ever wondered what Miami looked like from the other side of Biscayne Bay?

TIA International Photography wanted to know. . .and show.

Part of the reason one rarely sees the Miami skyline from the western side is because it’s the main airspace that commercial airplanes use to take-off and land. Well, I was determined to get the rare side we rarely see -- a.k.a. the backyard. With the help of a very cool pilot, we got into the helicopter, and while hovering over Biscayne Bay, we contacted the control tower at Miami International Airport to pause the take-offs of commercial airplanes for seven minutes so the photographer from Seattle could get his aerial views. The control tower people were actually very easygoing about this.

Alas, here is a view of Miami’s backyard, which confirms the truth of its “Manhattanization”. Many of the buildings you see here were not part of the skyline a decade ago.

According to Wikipedia, after New York and Chicago, Miami has the largest population of people living in its downtown core within the USA, with more than 200,000 people! (Now that I think about it, that explains the city's terrible parking problem -- parking cost more than my auto rental during the time I was there).

Often nicknamed “The Manhattan of the South", Miami is also home to the largest number of international banks in the USA.

For more aerial photography of Miami’s oceanfronts and backyard, click here!

To outsiders the Moot looks like a safe and happy land. The extent to which that’s true is due to the Fieldwardens.

These Halflings patrol the borders of the Moot, keeping away threats and unwanted outsiders. They are skilled skirmishers who use their intimate knowledge of the Moot to maximum advantage. They prefer to attack from ambush, using their superior skill with missile weapons to neutralize the size advantage of their foes. Since the Moot shares a border with Sylvania, the Fieldwardens have particular expertise in dealing with the living dead. More than one band of zombies has been brought down by a fusillade of slingstones from determined Fieldwardens.

The Fieldwarden is an esteemed figure in the halfling community. Empire folk may fret about the constant threat of heresy and invisible "enemies within", but halflings are a peaceful and easygoing folk with little concern beyond what the tavern has on the board for supper. Halflings live uncomplicated lives with simple tastes and an appreciation for the status quo. Chaos and disorder are to be avoided at all costs, and Mootlanders look to their vaunted Fieldwardens to maintain cherished continuity.

When not attached to a border patrol, a Fieldwarden's primary responsibility is to simply walk about the community and present a friendly and visible presence. Other times, the Fieldwarden is called upon to fill just about any job imaginable, from mending fences to helping at harvest time. The Fieldwarden knows the names and faces of every halfling family in his area, as well as the type of baked delectables they put out with tea. It’s a great honour for a halfling household to host a Fieldwarden to a Bakeday meal, and the wardens are often booked for meals months in advance. These dinners sometimes evoke friendly competitions between hosting families as they attempt to outdo each other with increasingly elaborate menus.

Near the Belle Reve penitentiary main gates, a wide yard stretches out from wall to wall. Primarily dirt, this is where countless inmates, under scrupulous supervision, take their exercise, smoke freely, or get into knife fights. The ones alowed out of their cells, anyways. Today however, the yard is ablaze. The sparse grass smokes and sputters, and inmates run freely, crashing through windows and knifing whom they please.

Overhead, the sky darkens, and the sun begins to disappear, almost symbolically. Far off in the distance, a roll of thunder is head, and the startling flash of lightning can be seen by the few who care to notice.

In two minutes, no one else will die.

Doctor Harleen Quinzel, and J. Daniel Murphy stand over the inert, electrified body of Roger Hayden, The Psycho-Pirate. He twitches slightly.

Murph: Doc, I gotta ask, you carry some kinda power-dampener with ya?

Harley, smiles, and hands him The Medusa Mask: No, Mister Murphy, I’ve just been workin real hard with my therapist. Huh, seems like it’s startin’ to rain.

At that moment, a wall nearby shatters into dust and debris. Bodily, two men are thrown through the newly-established door, and land in a heap. Emotionally numb all day, to Deadshot, this was nothing. To Captain Boomerang, this was one of his more graceful landings.

Following close behind, in a whirl of crackling energy and whipping flames, come the instigators of this devastating afternoon: Satanus and Blaze.

Murph: Backup to the yard, BACKUP TO THE YARD.

Harley: Yeah, I . . . Don’t think I can talk those two down.

Blaze moves towards Boomerang with the speed of a snake. She floats over him and smiles.

Blaze: Make peace with your flimsy god, little man.

Boomerang: David Schummy, who art in Australia, hallowed by thy name . . .

Satanus laughs none, he tires of this escapade, of these insignificant people. Of this man in the silver mask who shot him in the leg. Deadshot just sits. He too is tired, uninterested. What happens happens, he thinks as Satanus grabs a fistful of Deadshot’s uniform and lifts him off the ground.

Satanus: Are you prepared to die, shootist?

Deadshot catches a glimpse of himself, a reflection in Satanus’s helmet. There is a bullet-hole in his own forehead.

Deadshot: I’ve been dead all day.

It’s at that moment, the thunder sneaks up on clouded toes and cracks itself impossibly loud overhead. A bolt of lightning, cold, white and hard, strikes the ground a mere feet from where Satanus and Blaze are about to make their kills. What passes for their hearts each skip a beat, as they realize who is nigh.

Satanus: The Marvel!

Blaze: The Mortal!

When the sparks subside, the boisterous, awe-inspiring form of Captain Marvel raises from his kneel.

Captain Marvel: AH there you two are! Y’know, you’re out way past bedtime!

He flies forward, quick as Mercury, and socks Satanus in the jaw.

Cap: Your dad’s getting worried! He’s just up there at the Rock of Eternity –

He throws Satanus into Blaze and grabs them both by the capes,

Cap: -- wondering where his kids are!

He holds each sibling in each hand, then whacks their heads together, instantly knocking them out cold.

Cap, to Murph: Good afternoon, sir, are you in charge of this lovely, if not slightly tarnished prison?

Murph: Er uh, I guess so? The boss is out, so I guess I’ll do.

Answer, over the loudspeakers: Hold it right there, captain mustache, when the Boss is away, it’s me who has the say. Welcome to Belle Reve, Mr. Marvel.

Cap, to the air: Uh, thanks! Tell me, is there anything else I can do here?

Harley has been staring at Captain Marvel since he landed. She’s gone up against Superman, against Wonder Woman, and yet still somehow, The towering, red-suited man manages to have both the former’s easygoing nature, and the latter’s mystic splendor. And some serious muscles to boot.

Harley, despite herself: Y-yes! Yes in fact, there’s a riot. Real bad! Like Natural Born Killers bad! W-we need ya to stick around and help re-capture all these bad guys!

Captain Marvel: Well that sounds like just the job for me!

Captain Marvel lifts off a little ways into the air, and lands hard down in front of Boomerang and Deadshot.

Cap: I believe I’ve heard tell of you two from my esteemed colleagues, Batman and the Flash! Time to return to your cells now, natural born killers!

Boomerang: Now ‘old on minute!

Deadshot says nothing, he merely stares at Captain Marvels’ forehead.

Harley: Wait hold on, they work here!

Captain Marvel: Ah! You’re in clever disguise as bad guys! *he whispers* I won’t blow your cover, don’t worry. *he turns to Harley* Show me the way, Ms. . . . ?

Harley, shaking his hand gently, her hand sweaty and delicate in his, warm and firm: H-Harleen! Harleen Quinzel!

Cap: Harleen Quin- . . . Harley Quinn? *he is slightly aghast* Aren’t you a villain as well?

Harley: Wha- me? No, no no, I’m a doctor now! My baddie days are over’n done, cross my heart an’ hope to die!

Cap thinks for a minute, then extends his smallest finger: Pinky swear?

Harley: Ahahaha, *she locks pinkies* Yeah, pinky swear.

Cap: Splendid! Now let’s see what we can do about cleaning this place up.

Captain Marvel, with Harley Quinn, Digger Harkness, Floyd Lawton, J Daniel Murphy, and a host of relieved guards, begin to slowly put everything back together. It won’t be instant, they recognize, but eventually, order (and the power) would be fully restored. The World’s Mightiest Mortal, in a matter of an hour, manages to secure every prisoner left. Bit Wladon is found conversing quietly with Angelo Bend, and returns to his cell just as peacefully. Harley assists the prison doctors in tending to the wounded, when she can, she sneaks glances at the muscular man in red. The guards begin to tidy, and secure the perimeter while Murph takes stock of what they’ll need to rebuild. Floyd and Digger, slowly, remove the dead and take them to the incinerator room.

Digger: Wouldn’t you hate to be the bloke that tells some rotters’ family that he went and kicked it?

To Floyd, the bodies never looked any different.

In the monitor room, Black Orchid lays stretched out on the table near the back of the room, cleared of its empty bottles, thick books and unloaded handguns. Next to her stands Michael Patten, the bottom part of his mask pulled up, exposing his few-day beard.

Answer: Y’did good, Flower Pot, I’m proud of you. Get a couple-days rest and pretty soon that songbird voice of yours will be good-as-new.

She smiles, and caresses his face. He smiles back, holds her hand a minute, then pulls his mask back down and turns around.

Answer: That goes to all you carnival freaks as well, I may not actually be in charge, but The Wall’s gone so I’m going to damn well going to act like it! That was a fucken mess, but we pulled through!

Cap: Language please, Mister!

Answer: Language? Language?! What are you, a twelve-year-old boy?! And why did you just suddenly pale like a milk-soaked sheet? I’ll say what I damn well goddamn please in my Monitor room! I’ll-

Orchid grasps his arm lightly.

Answer: I. . . sorry, it’s been a stressful day. As long as you’re here boy-scout-man, I’ll try and keep it on the inside.

Cap: Thank you, sir!

Digger: With luck, ole ‘Manda won’t even notice we ‘ad a riot.

Floyd, thinking about all the holes in the walls: I wouldn’t be too sure about that.

Cap: Well, if there’s nothing else I can help with today, I may as well be on my way!

Harley: Wait!

All eyes turn to her, excepts Answers, sucked into the blank blue void of screens.

Harley: I, er, uh, We should all go to dinner! You! Me! Gun-guy and stick guy! Punctuation Man and-and Flower girl!

Digger: Stick-guy?

Answer: Oh no, not me! Do you know what the underpaid workers of even the finest establishments do to the food? Cause I do. Orchid and I grow all our own food, thank you.

Cap: It’s a very kind offer, but don’t you folks have jobs to do?

Digger: I’d say we just did em!

Harley: Yeah! Plus Waller’s away and uh, when the cat’s away the convi-er, trained professionals will play! Besides, the government can afford to pay us in Italian food every once inna while.

Cap: Well alright! As long as I’m not imposing!

Harley squees slightly and wraps her arms around one of his own, strong and impossibly muscular, and begins to lead him out of the room.

Answer, to Floyd and Digger, still looking at his monitors: Well, you’d better go with em. That boy’s a beefcake, and she’s gonna need a chaperone. There’s nothing in this world more depressing and chastity-keeping than your ugly mugs.

I am that perfect creature lol a 'Happy Tranny', I'm easygoing and have no hang-ups but even Jojo suffers from mild feelings of guilt from time to time. I'm okay at the moment and all I have to do is look in the mirror to see that if wasn't a man I should most definately be a woman and it was a wise choice. What's more it is something that makes me happy and I love it so much I like to share my world with you all. I know I do post a lot of pictures but every day is different and I always have something to say, indeed before I even sharted this I knew it would be a fascinating journey something that made me want even more to give it a try. These days I am a lot more sexually liberated and dress more to please which makes swimsuits and bikinis favourites of mine but nobody can say this expensive Gottex swimsuit makes me look slutty. I am a nice girl after all and all I need now is a handsome millionaire or two.
