A Mosaic of Easter Eggs.....I remember when I was a little girl, we would make Easter Bonnets. We had to arrive with all sorts of little things, eggs, chickens, colourful pipe cleaners, straw, etc. etc. and make a bonnet out of a paper plate. Then tie it around your head and parade around from classroom to classroom. What a silly bunch of goofs we must have looked like.
Okay, so somehow these never got posted. I am sure there are some family members who will be happy that I finally found them and are posting them.
They are also posted for Nicole who is in Kuwait and experiencing some pretty intense heat. Hope this helps Nicole!
Easter lunch was a combination of traditional foods from Iceland and the US. Hofi made Icelandic sweet potatoes, boiled white potates covered with carmelized sugar. I brought the fixin's from home to make deviled eggs and egg salad, something Hofi and her family had never tried before. I think she and boys were put off by the dill relish, not available in Iceland, but Kiddi seemed to like it.

Spring is here!! And Easter is on it's way. Just as with all other holidays, many of the residents decorate their front doors to reflect the event and season. After a long winter, it is nice to see Spring flowers and colors everywhere you look.

My Monster got bubbles from the Easter Bunny. It was sweltering when we wanted to go out, so we decided to do them in the bathroom instead. So, towel on the floor (to prevent slipping) we went for it!
