In computer science, dynamic links also are data structures that help a function to dynamicly access some of its caller's local variables. This is only relevant for languages that support enclosed functions. For instance:

This is especially relevant to ÉPITA students, who have to implement a Tiger compiler during their curriculum. This compiler generates code which use such dynamic links.

The new GEnx engine, pictured on the left, and the GE90 engine, right, both have composite fan blades. But the GEnx gains even more efficiency as it also has a composite fan case. It makes the fan package about 400 pounds lighter than conventional materials, such as aluminum.
