There's a club nextdoor to the hotel. The club is called "The Lobby". There were pretty girls as bartenders, and there were 2 hockey playoff games on, as well as baseball.

Please excuse my uploading of old stuff, out of sheer desperation. I had grand plans for today, alas I forgot one thing. Being a bank holiday weekend, it's time for the annual Network Rail ballast tamping competition, this year being held at Balshaw Lane, Coppull and Farington, crippling the mid section of the WCML, and ensuring that much of Cheshire was a desert for train services all weekend. Freight can wait, passengers can go to hell. Dontcha just love Network Rail...

The StarWalker Ultimate Carbon features a grey carbon fibre cap and barrel decorated with a subtle geometric pattern, in a statement of ingenious and ergonomic design. The use of carbon in a material finely woven of thousands of fibres, delivers a light yet robust writing instrument. The pen’s fittings are ruthenium-plated, a very rare transition metal of the platinum group. The Au585 gold nib, the very soul of the writing instrument, is also plated with ruthenium and engraved with the Montblanc emblem.

Exercise Dynamic Front 18 includes approximately 3,700 participants from 26 nations at the U.S. Army’s GTA, Feb. 23 - March 10, 2018. Dynamic Front is an annual U.S. Army Europe exercise focused on the interoperability of U.S. Army, joint service and allied nation artillery and fire support in a multinational environment, from theater-level headquarters identifying targets to gun crews pulling lanyards in the field.
