Model Reese at the 2017 Dynamic Images Photo Conference. Put this event on your calendar for 2018. Reece is a U.S. Army veteran so I asked her to imagine the First Sergeant had just given her weekend duty at the last moment. Her expression captures this perfectly.
Every March the Berks Photographic Society holds the Dynamic Images Photo Conference in Reading, PA. There are great classes and hands-on workshops for the weekend long event. Who spoke this year? World class photographers and educators Lindsay Adler and David Hobby. The fashion portraitist and the Strobist gave long in-depth presentations. There were many other great presenters as well.
And model shoots. The skill of these model shoots all resides with the models, the make-up artists, the folks who set up the lights, etc. It's a great learning experience, but any and all credit has to go to those people.

Certainly not a mainstream shot that all will like but I've very recently discovered a new way of looking at things which I call "Dynamic Abstraction". This minimalist technique captures a small vignette of life in motion with a long shutter speed and long lens.
I can easily imagine it printed large and in a contemporary house.
