Here is some of my Friday dyeing experiments out to dry. My across the street neighbor asked me when I was going to take in the "eyesore." Note that my yarrow and phlox bush is doing well, but for some reason this phlox doesn't like to bloom. Closes is some salmon angora/merino tussah blend in pinks, reds and salmons, the blues, green and burgundy are a polworth roving, and the weird pinky white thing in the middle is actually a piece of suede I tried to dye to exhause one of the dye baths... it didn't come out as well as some of the ones I have done in the past.

After I added my yellow dye, I added the blue. These cups were really easy to open one-handed. It ended up being really easy to tell how much dye each cup needed of a certain color by having the labels stuck right on the lids. As I added dye I moved the cups from the left side of the table to the right.

I dyed the yarn myself with Kool Aid. from the left is the original color, lemonade, pink lemonade, strawberry, cherry, orange, blue raspberry lemonade, and grape. It seems I forgot to put the black cherry in there.
