Actually the lady was not a dwarf but she was selling models of them.

Do you need to protect your land against some annoying dragon? Your neighbor’s castle is still not conquered? Do you need some serious artillery on the battlefield?

Call a band of dwarfs engineers! They and their ballista will figure out any issue which you have! :)

Few words regarding construction. There are 4 parts which were not rendered - I have an issue with render chains and ropes - don’t know why. I think this is an issue with the Studio app, but let’s go into details.

When you add a rubber band and one chain to that construction, it should shoot :) I implemented a ratchet mechanism to stretch the string with a small trigger. Also the ballista could be moved up, down, left and right. There are two separate mechanisms for that. Up and down on the bottom, very close to one of the wheels. I used a slizer’s body to make it stable. A little bit higher one of the dwarfs is the controlling mechanism of turning right and left. On the top of construction there are two other dwarfs. One of them is responsible for string stretching and the second one is a shooter.

That guy with the axe in his hand is responsible for loading new spears.

Whole construction is moving, could shooting and turn in all directories - some kind of dwarf’s tank :D

I know that usually dwarfs have shorter Lego legs, but from my perspective with that regular it looks better ;)

One of the beauties of the woodlands. I love these beautiful plants...but they are poisonous! Just don't eat them and you're fine.

We had a goat give birth, very unexpectedly!! I wasn't expecting any babies for about a month, or at least a few more weeks. We lost one, sadly, took him to the vet and they said there was nothing they could do :( This little doeling is doing well, but now I can't help but worry incessantly about her! She is only a few hours old.

A nice patch of dwarf iris (Iris verna) on top of Flat Rock. There are two types of dwarf irises in bloom right now with this one more common in dry areas and out in the open like this. The other one, crested iris (Iris cristata) likes it more wet and shady and is commonly found along forest trails.

Mesee boldly ventured out to greet me while her friends hid among the ferns. She was 3 1/2 feet tall, with albino skin, and her face beamed with curiosity. She asked, "Are you a good or bad fairy?" I smiled and replied, "I’m mortal. I've heard beautiful things about Mushroom City." Suddenly, little heads popped out among the ferns, along with waves of giggling. BTW she is only 8 years old mushroom fairy.

There is a clever lad who heard hundreds of stories about Leprechauns. He comes up with a clever idea on how to catch a Leprechaun. He has to remember to always keep one eye on the leprechaun when he is caught. You can’t blink with both eyes either, only one eye at a time. If you take both eyes off him, he will disappear in a split second. Leprechauns are mischievous and always find ways to escape. One day, the lad caught a Leprechaun and leprechaun was unable to escape. The leprechaun had to reveal where he buried his pot of gold. The clever lad broke off a branch from the tree, tied a sock around the branch, and stuck it in the ground where the leprechaun said there was a pot of gold. The lad dashed home to got a shovel and wheel barrow. When he returned, he saw hundreds of branches stuck to the ground with socks tied to them. He starts to dig where each one was on the group. When he stops for a rest, he noticed more branches were added.

Have you been to the Big Maze yet? At the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, through September 1st, it's the work of Danish architect Bjarke Ingels. The outside walls are an intimidating 18 feet high but as you travel through the maze the walls get shorter until at the middle walls are only waist high, and you can see where you've been - and how to get out (whew!) Like!
