Do you need to protect your land against some annoying dragon? Your neighbor’s castle is still not conquered? Do you need some serious artillery on the battlefield?
Call a band of dwarfs engineers! They and their ballista will figure out any issue which you have! :)
Few words regarding construction. There are 4 parts which were not rendered - I have an issue with render chains and ropes - don’t know why. I think this is an issue with the Studio app, but let’s go into details.
When you add a rubber band and one chain to that construction, it should shoot :) I implemented a ratchet mechanism to stretch the string with a small trigger. Also the ballista could be moved up, down, left and right. There are two separate mechanisms for that. Up and down on the bottom, very close to one of the wheels. I used a slizer’s body to make it stable. A little bit higher one of the dwarfs is the controlling mechanism of turning right and left. On the top of construction there are two other dwarfs. One of them is responsible for string stretching and the second one is a shooter.
That guy with the axe in his hand is responsible for loading new spears.
Whole construction is moving, could shooting and turn in all directories - some kind of dwarf’s tank :D
I know that usually dwarfs have shorter Lego legs, but from my perspective with that regular it looks better ;)
I finally finished this figure after it sitting staring at me on the table for years. I think this if from Games Day 2006. Now to get to the other Games Day figs.
Cirrhitichthys falco. Named after the late Austrian pop singer? In a soft coral. The dive guide in Cebu claimed that they eat the pygmy seahorses, which live in the same soft coral.

These small lilies were low to the ground in Union Square Park. It was a little tough to get my tripod positioned low enough and then getting myself low enough to look through the viewfinder to frame the shot and manually focus.

These are some close-ups of my Dwarf Warriors. To achieve the red I used a Dark Flesh basecoat, then applied Scab Red over the top (leaving the Dark Flesh in the recesses), before putting a layer of Red Gore over the top (leaving some of the Scab Red showing).
The armour and weapons were drybrushed Chainmail Silver over a Chaos Black undercoat.
