Macro Mondays - Stack.
These are polyhedral dice - I found them when looking for poker dice. I am told they are used in Dungeons and Dragons.
The image is just under 3 inches in the vertical dimension, including the reflection.

Cunning and evil, the solitary erinyes have the special duty among the baatezu of tempting mortals. Even though the erinyes are lesser baatezu, they report directly to the Dark Eight outside the normal chain of command.
Only 500 erinyes exist at any one time. Lesser baatezu are promoted to fill out their numbers.
As tempters, the erinyes can do something no other baatezu can do, not even the pit fiends: enter the Prime Material Plane unsummoned. There it tries, through its charm person power and its comely form to lure mortals back to Baator. They cannot bring anyone or anything with them when they pass into the Prime Material Plane, and they can only bring one person back when they return. They cannot bring back inorganic matter, so victims arrive in Baator without possessions.
Mortals so trapped are doomed to die in the inhuman plains of Baator unless their own strength can save them. A mortal who dies this way becomes a lemure and serves forever as a soldier of Baator. Because of this power to tempt and doom mortals, most baatezu respect the erinyes.
Ah Riverdale , the so called worst sho on netflix , Does that that then make then iconic?
*giggles I thought I would do a Cheryl Blossom and Reggie cosplay , sorry no Archie-kins *laughs*

Dwarf, Halfling, and Gith playing Dungeons and Dragons.
When reading the theme I thought, wait, we had that theme just weeks ago - but it was only me who had used one of these dice for the tiny theme.
This was totally not inspired by the album cover of Rush's roll the bones!!!1

macromondays: numbers....one of our quarantine activities has been playing Dungeons and Dragons with my son -- has really helped get through the last 6 months.
The monster in the role playing Dungeons and Dragons game can not only see in every direction, but can also limit magic in it's surrounds. No wonder it is terrifying!

I wanted to pay homage to the best role playing game ever created (in my opinion). My kids, friends and I spend time together having some fun most Friday nights playing Dungeons and Dragons. I’m just happy they let me play :)
Who says there's no benefit to Min-Maxing your Charisma stat? See, I've got him wrapped around my finger...

Imagine a pen and paper role playing game, you're dealing the death blow to your enemy, and it's just a small poke.
Am I dead yet?
Yes. You better are, because I just broke my sword. You don't have a spare weapon that I could use? No? Thought so.
(begin rummaging through backpack)
A rope, another rope, oh, and a third one. Torches, candles, even a lantern. Do I have lantern oil? Uhm, should have checked after I slipped on the ravine, that explains why the ropes were so soggy.
Oh, my survival handbook. "Always poynte the sharpe end of thy weapone towads the enemy..." Any word about a spare weapon? Damn.
Ah, lockpicks. I could use...
Where's that Goblin gone? Creeped off, ungrateful bugger. Could've waited for me to finish him off...

The dragon is bored without friends, so she took the abandoned tower to create a safe space for any introverted princess tired of balls and unwanted attention.
I always wanted to improve this tower to make it look closer to the original film (i.e. taller), and to coil a dragon around it (cause why not?), but Lego has yet to release a serpentine dragon actually able to do it. :) Released sets are either not serpentine enough, or not flexible enough...
No, I don't have DnD set, but I've suddenly found a dragon for a very nice price (they gave me a discount), and I'm very happy about it! Cinderhowl is the best brick-built Lego dragon!
Last time I pictured this tower, I used a giant lightbox, but I had to sell it recently (I didn't used it at all since I bought smaller lightbox three years ago), so this time I used the lights from my small lightbox and I had to hold them in my hands all the time.

For those unfamiliar with the concept: in ancient times, before space stations, stamped pieces of metal were used to buy things. At least if you weren't a Viking.

For the Smile on Saturday challenge "dice only"
The instructions are: "no other gamepieces or even other objects on the photo for that theme... ONLY DICE"
I didn't have any dice at all in the house ... so I went online to see if there were any dice that might attract me ... and found a small set of Dungeons and Dragons dice that looked really interesting and colourful too. They arrived on Thursday ... no time to look at them or play with them before I needed to shoot them. So I simply piled them up and took some shots.
Looking at the results I was struck by the numbers, the many facets, and the precarious balances. These dice got me thinking .... the precarious balances of nature that we are disturbing, the numbers of species that are vanishing from the planet, our carbon footprints, the greenhouse effect, global warming. All measured in numbers. We measure our impact, and try to keep the planet in balance. So I decided to use the sky as my background, to hint at some of these ideas. Or maybe they are just slightly crazy dice after all ;o)
HSoS!! and a great weekend to all ;o)
Cliche and Smile on Saturday: Here
"Music twines away from the stage, fading in to the distance of the cavernous hall as the master of games idles away his time painting a new miniature. The scritch scratch of a paintbrush is interrupted only by the occasional clack as a dice is rolled."

Wrong film? This is a Space Station, you really should pay more attention to where we are!

That is very impolite of you to say that. I may still need to learn a thing or two, but that doesn't make me a silly piece of junk.

When in a space station, of course I had to make some Starwars reference. The three adventurers are just spectators.

Kethan Arkenrret. Kaden's real form.
A second part to Kaden's character seen on my previous photo. Kaden is just a cover up for Kethan, my Half-Dragon Drow Vhaeraunite spy from the Jaezred Chaulssin.. His tail is part of a curse he got that he didn't minded keeping at.

Inspired a lot by Dano's awesome "Traveling Dwarf" MOC, but also made to show off the tree (it's been sitting around for ages ;_;)
Oh also the fig is Dano's version of my castle sigfig... it looked better than mine so I used it. Thanks buddy :D

Windfall
It had been a good day. Well, the irate merchant hadn't really been a high point, but even that got him a new sword, and all's well that ends well. And besides that, everything had gone just as planned or better. He- Sven Anderson, a Norse warrior in England for adventure- had found the Hammer Amulet quickly, scared away the guardians without even having to fight, and been left alone the way back to Bryon's hut. Now he'd even found an apple tree that wasn't on anybody's property.
After filling his haversack with the crisp green apples, he picked another and bit into it. In He'd never even heard of apples until he went on his first raid, but the first time he'd tasted one had been a few weeks ago when he bought one at a market vendor. He'd fallen in love with the taste instantly and kept his eyes peeled for more wherever he went.
As he walked along the path, still eating, he wondered what to do next. Most people tended to avoid him, fearing him as a stereotypical berserker northman, so getting jobs wasn't exactly common. He had bought a map from a vendor, Gahdösi, before moving on to the sword merchant, but hadn't had a chance to look at it.
"Well," he muttered to himself in Norse, "It'll have to wait until I finish this apple. This must be what the nectar of Valhöll tastes like."

For a challenge of Rule of Odds - just something fun. Using odd number of dnd dice, all showing odds.
Flickr lounge. Lots and lots of dice.
Many strange and terrifying creatures lurk in the damp caves of the Underdark.
My builds for BioniLUG's "High Fantasy" collab for the 2023 convention circuit (the myconid for the "creature" category, and the crystals for "scenery"). I'm really pleased with how both came out!
Today we're going to learn all about robots...
Oi you, the newbies! Shed your civilian clothes and get yourselves a white uniform. You should really wear a helmet, that silly hat won't do.
Now, where was I - you'll learn how to feed them, so that they'll get fat and ... program. Right.
(later, back in the corridor)
A white space cadet uniform? I really need to find a way to get back to our neck of the woods...

A new LEGO Castle MOC from me, but this one is pink.
Was very keen to experiment with none traditional colours for a castle MOC, and it was very fun to do so.
If you're keen to hear more insights on this build, see some break downs of the techniques and how some areas of this MOC are built, check out this analysis video of the MOC:
