Macro Mondays - Stack.
These are polyhedral dice - I found them when looking for poker dice. I am told they are used in Dungeons and Dragons.
The image is just under 3 inches in the vertical dimension, including the reflection.

Cunning and evil, the solitary erinyes have the special duty among the baatezu of tempting mortals. Even though the erinyes are lesser baatezu, they report directly to the Dark Eight outside the normal chain of command.
Only 500 erinyes exist at any one time. Lesser baatezu are promoted to fill out their numbers.
As tempters, the erinyes can do something no other baatezu can do, not even the pit fiends: enter the Prime Material Plane unsummoned. There it tries, through its charm person power and its comely form to lure mortals back to Baator. They cannot bring anyone or anything with them when they pass into the Prime Material Plane, and they can only bring one person back when they return. They cannot bring back inorganic matter, so victims arrive in Baator without possessions.
Mortals so trapped are doomed to die in the inhuman plains of Baator unless their own strength can save them. A mortal who dies this way becomes a lemure and serves forever as a soldier of Baator. Because of this power to tempt and doom mortals, most baatezu respect the erinyes.
Ah Riverdale , the so called worst sho on netflix , Does that that then make then iconic?
*giggles I thought I would do a Cheryl Blossom and Reggie cosplay , sorry no Archie-kins *laughs*

macromondays: numbers....one of our quarantine activities has been playing Dungeons and Dragons with my son -- has really helped get through the last 6 months.
Dwarf, Halfling, and Gith playing Dungeons and Dragons.
When reading the theme I thought, wait, we had that theme just weeks ago - but it was only me who had used one of these dice for the tiny theme.

The monster in the role playing Dungeons and Dragons game can not only see in every direction, but can also limit magic in it's surrounds. No wonder it is terrifying!
The dragon is bored without friends, so she took the abandoned tower to create a safe space for any introverted princess tired of balls and unwanted attention.
I always wanted to improve this tower to make it look closer to the original film (i.e. taller), and to coil a dragon around it (cause why not?), but Lego has yet to release a serpentine dragon actually able to do it. :) Released sets are either not serpentine enough, or not flexible enough...
No, I don't have DnD set, but I've suddenly found a dragon for a very nice price (they gave me a discount), and I'm very happy about it! Cinderhowl is the best brick-built Lego dragon!
Last time I pictured this tower, I used a giant lightbox, but I had to sell it recently (I didn't used it at all since I bought smaller lightbox three years ago), so this time I used the lights from my small lightbox and I had to hold them in my hands all the time.

I wanted to pay homage to the best role playing game ever created (in my opinion). My kids, friends and I spend time together having some fun most Friday nights playing Dungeons and Dragons. I’m just happy they let me play :)
Imagine a pen and paper role playing game, you're dealing the death blow to your enemy, and it's just a small poke.
Am I dead yet?
Yes. You better are, because I just broke my sword. You don't have a spare weapon that I could use? No? Thought so.
(begin rummaging through backpack)
A rope, another rope, oh, and a third one. Torches, candles, even a lantern. Do I have lantern oil? Uhm, should have checked after I slipped on the ravine, that explains why the ropes were so soggy.
Oh, my survival handbook. "Always poynte the sharpe end of thy weapone towads the enemy..." Any word about a spare weapon? Damn.
Ah, lockpicks. I could use...
Where's that Goblin gone? Creeped off, ungrateful bugger. Could've waited for me to finish him off...

I'm really pleased with how this commission turned out, I feel like I'm starting to get more into my groove. I've struggled a long time on finding my 'style' and when I get to make something like this I feel like I'm getting a little closer. P.S. Sale ends on the 20th!

"Music twines away from the stage, fading in to the distance of the cavernous hall as the master of games idles away his time painting a new miniature. The scritch scratch of a paintbrush is interrupted only by the occasional clack as a dice is rolled."
For the Smile on Saturday challenge "dice only"
The instructions are: "no other gamepieces or even other objects on the photo for that theme... ONLY DICE"
I didn't have any dice at all in the house ... so I went online to see if there were any dice that might attract me ... and found a small set of Dungeons and Dragons dice that looked really interesting and colourful too. They arrived on Thursday ... no time to look at them or play with them before I needed to shoot them. So I simply piled them up and took some shots.
Looking at the results I was struck by the numbers, the many facets, and the precarious balances. These dice got me thinking .... the precarious balances of nature that we are disturbing, the numbers of species that are vanishing from the planet, our carbon footprints, the greenhouse effect, global warming. All measured in numbers. We measure our impact, and try to keep the planet in balance. So I decided to use the sky as my background, to hint at some of these ideas. Or maybe they are just slightly crazy dice after all ;o)
HSoS!! and a great weekend to all ;o)

Oh also the fig is Dano's version of my castle sigfig... it looked better than mine so I used it. Thanks buddy :D

Windfall
It had been a good day. Well, the irate merchant hadn't really been a high point, but even that got him a new sword, and all's well that ends well. And besides that, everything had gone just as planned or better. He- Sven Anderson, a Norse warrior in England for adventure- had found the Hammer Amulet quickly, scared away the guardians without even having to fight, and been left alone the way back to Bryon's hut. Now he'd even found an apple tree that wasn't on anybody's property.
After filling his haversack with the crisp green apples, he picked another and bit into it. In He'd never even heard of apples until he went on his first raid, but the first time he'd tasted one had been a few weeks ago when he bought one at a market vendor. He'd fallen in love with the taste instantly and kept his eyes peeled for more wherever he went.
As he walked along the path, still eating, he wondered what to do next. Most people tended to avoid him, fearing him as a stereotypical berserker northman, so getting jobs wasn't exactly common. He had bought a map from a vendor, Gahdösi, before moving on to the sword merchant, but hadn't had a chance to look at it.
"Well," he muttered to himself in Norse, "It'll have to wait until I finish this apple. This must be what the nectar of Valhöll tastes like."

A new LEGO Castle MOC from me, but this one is pink.
Was very keen to experiment with none traditional colours for a castle MOC, and it was very fun to do so.

Race: "Dwarfling" Daughter of a Dwarf and a Halfling.
Born in the dwarven city of Hillsafar Hall in the Galena Mountains as a refugee during the siege of the tyrannical Warlock Knights of Vaasa, she however barely remembers her days there.
Fruit of the unusual marriage between Fayuela Escalopina and Giuseppe Sparacello.
Giuseppe was one of the members of the Topolino House of Delthuntle, this one took to the road after a series of unfortunate jobs, abandoning his mob family name and making a name for himself as a merchant. Fayuela was part of the Scalopines Clan of Mithral Hall, a branch of which migrated far to the east with the Machacaogros Clan after the opportunities that arose in Vaasa when the Great Glacier melted due to the Spellplague, establishing their small kingdom in the Galena Mountains focused on the mining of precious gems.
The Clan of the Scalopines, known to be the Mithrall hall clan that has always provided the best chefs, long ago cooking for King Bruenor Battlehammer himself. This branch of the family now serving King Cubik Machacaobros and Prince Rubik.
Fayuela and Giuseppe participated in the conflict to dethrone the Warlock Knights of Vaasa, along with a resistance led by a group of adventurers. When peace returned to Vaasa, the refugees, both from the different dwarven fortresses and The Great Glacier were finally able to return to their settlements. Saffron and her family then returned with the Ogreshmashers, she grew up happily and healthily with her parents. Saffron was interested in her mother's cooking from a very early age, and wanted to learn and absorb all this knowledge. Giuseppe, as any halfling, enjoyed these sessions more than anyone else, and acted as a gourmet for both of them. A healthy rivalry developed between mother and daughter, often having cooking competitions, of which Saffron never won any of them.
At the same time Saffron grew up admiring the stories of her uncle, Trabanco Cabrales, Fayuela's brother, an acclaimed traveling bard who brings festivity and joy wherever he goes, she herself dreamed of going abroad and seeing the world, it was something her parents could see in her eyes.
Saffron's cooking eventually stagnated, having mastered both the gastronomies of The Silvermarches and Aglarond respectively. Fayuela one day took her to task and explained a philosophy that would change her life. The Transcendental Gastronomy. Which consists of finding the dish that in the end, in a similar way as Trabanco did achieved through music, would bring the ultimate happiness to all those who tasted it, as well as cure any evil that squeezed the soul, to achieve such knowledge, she would have to travel the world, hunting, learning, and tasting dishes of all gastronomies, only then Saffron could surpass a legendary chef like her mother, Fayuela.
And so Saffron grabbed her backpack and marched off on an adventure, heading for the Silver Marches back to the place of origin of his people, working in Mirabar at “The Silver Spoon”, there, for a few months, learning from the one who would be one of Fayuela's apprentices long ago, a round and affable human chef named Romero Oleastro, acclaimed in Mirabar for his incredible skills, known for being a skilled Duskblade. Who anyone would say was part dwarf as well, as his proportions seemed to indicate. Oleaster took Saffron under his tutelage for an intense but enjoyable time, developing a great appreciation for both his more southern cuisine and himself, as he learned the useful applications of magic in the kitchen. But all this was jeopardized when agents of Hellgate Keep of House Dlardrageth infiltrated Mirabar, affecting the food stores with their perfidious demonic curses to create servants, Oleaster included, suffering from an illness, which would take Saffron once again on an adventure, in search of the source of the evil that would save both Oleaster and the people of this new city that welcomed her with open arms. Or who knows, maybe she could finally find that dish that could remedy these evils of which The Transcendental Gastronomy spoke?
I speak, of course, of Dungeons & Dragons and you can read a bit more about it in my blog post where you can also find all the credits for this pretty, pretty outfit. <3

A scheming DM forced the heroes to stop the wedding between some very important evil NPCs (or else the whole world is doomed, obviously), but he didn't expect what happened next...
The Die (Charisma check):
*successfully rolls 20*
Sam (DM):
"Why is everybody giggling?! Stop. Stop."
Betty (the Elf Bard):
"All the tour livestreams trained me for this moment!" *picks up the guitar*
Inez (the Dwarf Barbarian) and Peter (the Tiefling Sorcerer):
*are placing bets on whether she will change the lyrics just a lil bit (spoiler alert: yes, she has to!)*
Marcus (the Halfling Druid):
*crunches a chicken leg while nobody is looking*
(52 seconds later)
Sam:
*considers his precious plot ruined cause he hoped for violence*
Marcus:
*crunches in sync approvingly*
Inez:
*is singing and filming*
Peter:
*knows only the last line in chorus, but sings it enthusiastically*
Betty:
"Don't say yes, run away now
I'll meet you when you're out
Of the church, at the back door
Don't wait or say a single vow
You need to hear me out
And they said, "Spеak now""
When unpacking and admiring my D&D minifigures (just one set, even though the picture might trick you into thinking that I have doubles), I thought it should be cool to show a DnD party in the midst of some action, and when I saw a bard I just thought - what if she's a Swiftie? :)
Well, there is a bardcore YouTuber Hildegard von Blingin, who covered a lot of songs in Medieval style and archaic language, including "Willow" by Taylor Swift, so it's actually easy to imagine something like that, especially considering she has a lot of fantasy/historical-coded songs on certain albums. But! I was thinking about what these minifigures want to do, and I realised that it would be hilarious if instead of barging in and killing the villains and guests Kill Bill-style or Red Wedding-style, the party will use famous "speak now, or forever hold your peace" trope, because the bard knows a song exactly for that occasion! xD
Wait, does Betty's character even know the NPC in question? Funny that you're asking, because no one ever (except me and Elsa!) questions Disney movies, where characters used to get married after knowing each other for less than 48 hours or so! Therefore, the stupid rule of Disney allows that, I don't even make that up. xD
I was going to build a scene like a comparison shot between a scene from characters' POV and a scene from players' POV, and split it diagonally, but then I saw a scene-inside-a-scene on the picture by captain_j03, and I realised that by that trick I could show more than just a half of both scenes, which is super helpful, cause I put a lot of detail in the game table and in the guests (and some easter eggs for Swifties), and I wanted to show as much as possible. :)
I was supposed to post it a week earlier to celebrate the end of The Eras Tour, but the original tribute, which I planned in the summer, couldn't be made in time, because I still didn't bought something I need for it (I was going to in the end of the summer - but bad news made me postpone all shopping plans), so I decided to post this scene instead, even though it was a completely separate idea, but this scene is too big, and I'm too busy, so I couldn't finish it when I wanted. Well, it took some time, but now I'm very happy with the result, I hope you'll like it too! :)
The song exists in two versions, I'm only sharing the link to the 2023 version Taylor owns, but the original 2010 version with her younger voice is also on her channel, so you might look it up as well:

The 'Desert Wind' and 'Liberator' blades, both part of the fabled Nine Swords. Both used to belong to two siblings hailing from the Lost Kingdom of Arderyn Merah. Both blades got heavily damaged when fighting their ultimate enemy, The Drakesoul. In the end, said blades smelted and reforged, as a symbol of their union through the eras, with the help of a legendary blackmith mage from the far east.
By using the special metals from these legendary swords, along with the special 'kurohagane' metal extracted from a meteor, four blades were made from these previous two, each set meant for each sibling. Firstly 'Uchû no Chowa', (Translated 'Harmony of The Universe' ), and 'Asahi' & 'Akai Yuyake' (Translated 'Rising Sun' & 'Red Sunset)
