I love steamed dumplings. Yum. This is a different restaurant to the other one I posted two photos back.
Our whole family loves dumplings. Generally quite easy to make, although chopping the cabbages can be quite mundane.
We love making Guo-tie, a pan fried version which leaves a deliciously crispy -thin layer in the bottom of the dumplings.
Alternatively simply boiling them for a quick treat, is always good in my books

There is a dumpling house in Chinatown we have been going to since college. Its not a secret. The place is always crowded.

My small lunch of shui jiao, or boiled dumplings. These have shrimp in them, too, and a spicy sauce.
Kimchi dumplings, mixed grain onigiri - it's the aduki beans which give them their pink colour - strawberries, pomegranate and blueberries, orange and corn and spring onion muffin.
These are the boiled dumplings from Fu Man Dumpling House. They are the crack cocaine of dumplings.
