The dump. A waste picker stands behind burning garbage in the dumpsite in Pier 18, Manila, Philippines. Environmental groups such as Ecowaste told the authorities that electronic waste is piling up and is improperly disposed in this dumpsite which poses danger to Manila Bay. 07/11/2009

Dumped TV- flytipping in Havant Portsmouth

There has been a significant increase in the flytipping or all waste products in Hampshire.

The Councils have cut the hours the tips are open; reduced the number of days the tips are open and have introduced charges for disposing of some types of waste.

The result is that some people just dump it in the countryside.

I don't agree with fly tipping but the Council are not making it easy for people to dispose of their waste products.

Room mate thought this would be hilarious, and so did I, so he just had to pose for this "no dumping" photo!

Please pace yourself, I don't want any complains of Repetative Shot Syndrome...

I'll be adding individual titles and details of what you are looking at (assuming you are bothering to look) as and when I get time. Although I'm not always sure what I'm looking at as, despite several visits to Skye over the years, this is the first time I've actually managed to see the view!

Note: 5/3/11. I recently joined some HDR groups that want us to state our process and number of exposures.

To say I’m new to HDR is a understatement, Until January of this year I had not even heard of it.

My Process: Most are the basic 3 bracket exposures. some that I think that will turn out really well I take7 to 10 brackets. But that does not mean I will use all the frames I shoot. so when It comes time to post I am unsure of how many I finally decided to use. I use Photomatix.and whatever free trial Photoshop I have at the time. Currently I’m using PS 9 Elements and I think it’s the one I’m going to purchase. It has all I will ever need. most PS programs have way more than anyone needs. And its much cheaper.(I’m broke)

It was somewhat disconcerting to be at the dog park today and see this truck drive into the field and proceed to dump that tank full of some liquid right where dogs are normally walked.

On completion of each test the crane positions the water bag over the side and we release the drain hose, it takes around 25 minutes to drain 35,000lt of sea water.

Delivering the weekly freebie, the Littlehampton Advertiser.

This was possibly the beginning of the end for me. I'd been pushed into working four days a week at the garden centre, and the papers were taking some 20 hours a week.

Then I get a dumping. I always had a brilliant team of distributors, and to be fair, this was my only dumping in the whole time I did it. The teenager concerned did not last long!

But she managed to throw them over a barbed wire fence, and deep into a patch of nettles. I had to take a morning off work (and lose the pay) to deal with it, and got torn to shreds in the process. I was getting too tired to keep a sense of humour ...
