The view from The Cockle Train at Dump Beach on the Steamranger Heritage Railway

A massive 60 shot upload to keep you all occupied for the next week or so whilst I nip out and take a few more shots.

Please pace yourself, I don't want any complains of Repetative Shot Syndrome...

I'll be adding individual titles and details of what you are looking at (assuming you are bothering to look) as and when I get time. Although I'm not always sure what I'm looking at as, despite several visits to Skye over the years, this is the first time I've actually managed to see the view!

This was my boy's favourite past time at the beach - wave jumping! We went back again and again and he loved it, despite being dumped every time.

today it was one of those days where you just dump all the toys on the floor and jump in.

Itech Environmental had the privilege to assist Elgin County and the Township of Malahide with the removal of a dump truck from Catfish Creek. The dump truck was marooned on February 23rd when the main bridge in Port Bruce collapsed.

If you want to use this image, ask permission PRIOR to use. Don't be a thief - under most circumstances, I'm quite reasonable.

F-111's signature Dump And Burn

A great wind had blown through the interior of the Eastern Cape just days before I arrived in Grahamstown. The wind had scattered thousands of plastic bags from the rubbish dump across the surrounding countryside. Proof that the policy of forcing shoppers to pay for plastic bags has had no effect on the proliferation of plastic bags as rubbish. I saw the same effects of the great wind in all the towns of the Eastern Cape that I drove through that week.

I think they are what Indee calls "pink".

Last Friday we had an illegal dumpoff of 7 tween kitties. (Oh...and I think one bottle baby...but that could just be gossip) Seriously people, I know you don't know what to do sometimes, but this hurts the shelter in so many ways. First of all...do you know how much they will cost to spay/neuter and innoculate? If you're going to dump off like that, why not dump off a big fat envelope of cash. Secondly, some people do things correctly and get on our waiting list. When dump offs happen, the waiting list gets pushed wayyy back. Not fair to anyone involved. And you dumped them off in 2 small carriers underneath a pine tree. Know who found them? A shelter dog (yay, Summer!) on an evening walk.

Oh...and they were covered in fleas.

I know you may think you are doing the right thing...but while your at it, dump off some cash or a truck load of supplies, 'kay?

But yes, little 7 tween kitties, you are adorable. And fleafree!

The first of the three dump and burns "given" to Brisbane as a farewell from my most favourite plane, the F-111.

Due to lack of options, a large amount of waste has been left in a school playground. Originally intended as a staging post to sort waste out for appropriate disposal, the system appears to have broken down, with a dump now as high as the school towering up and threatening to collapse. UN Environment and its partners are working with the government to restart the waste management system, deal with the accumulated waste and contribute to Dominica's recovery.
