Some parts of Venice are just neighbours where people live, like in any other city - well, 'cept that in many cases they need to ride a boat instead of a car...anyway, it's not rare to see those drying racks around. And look out for weird chimneys...

I didn't speak with the pre-school teachers, but these appear to be frames that will later be used for pictures.

My beautiful drying rack, scored from the curb. It's not in the landfill, and I don't use the dryer anymore! See the write-up here.

I got 2.5 loads of laundry onto this bad boy! We currently have it in front of our heater and I have a box fan blowing on it to help it dry, as our apartment is on the cool side. The only things I washed that I couldn't fit on this were two sheets. I am super impressed at how much I could fit on here.

Three big-sized glass containers to store food in that won't leach chemicals into our food. Also, glass is infinitely recyclable, which plastic can only be recycled about three times, usually. Unfortunately, made in Italy but this is what TOSSS could get. Also, I have priced out other glass containers and they are pricey! We got three for $24, which is pretty good, considering I just saw one big one at Fred Meyers for $15. We're trying.
